Workshop Week 37 — Special Common item week! No poll: call for all ideas!

Hey heroes! It's time for the next Elite Workshop...not-a-poll!

Common items!

Please leave a comment with a general idea (even something really loose!) of a common item! Common items are typically 90-100% flavor, and offer little to no combat or mechanical benefits other than improving the flavor of a character or setting. You can really get creative and even silly with these!

There will be a second poll tomorrow featuring multiple of your commented suggestions using the winning direction from the poll today.

I'll be going live tomorrow night, April 6th at 7:30 pm EST (GMT-5). You'll receive an email tomorrow evening with the exclusive Picarto link for you to come watch and participate! We'll figure out the exact mechanics together on stream before (and possibly while) I make the illustration for the most voted on item!

Remember that this will be an official Saddlebag item and will not credit anyone for the ideas generated through this process. Please only bring ideas you're comfortable with sharing to the workshop!

Let's make something exciting together! See you tomorrow!

Orb of Dear Remembrance Wondrous item, common or uncommon The standard Orb of Dear Remembrance is a plain crystal orb that is initially clouded and murky, though vague shapes can be seen within it. As an action, you can speak the orb's command word to designate a 10ft diameter sphere within 30ft of you. Over the course of 1 minute the orb becomes perfectly clear and reveals an exact duplicate of the designated area as a miniaturized diorama. You can also designate an Orb of Dear Remembrance that already holds a diorama to make a copy of it. Once the orb has been used this way, it cannot be used again. The uncommon variant of this orb has a much more complex enchantment. You can speak its first command word to designate a 10ft radius sphere within 30 ft., which the orb begins to record. It stops recording after 1 minute or when you use an action to speak its second command word. Once it has recorded an event in this way, the diorama inside replicates the moment it started recording. You can speak the orb's third command word to replay the recorded event, including sound which plays at half the volume of the original event. Once it reaches the end of its recording the orb reverts to a still diorama of the moment it started recording. This orb can also be used to copy recordings from other orbs of the same rarity. Once the orb contains a recording, it cannot be used to record another event.
