Workshop Week 34 — What kind of item should we make?
Hey heroes!
Get ready for the next Monday Night Elite Workshop poll!
Please vote on a direction below and comment with a general idea (even something really loose!) of an item you have that would fit the direction you voted for! There will be a second poll tomorrow featuring up to three of your commented suggestions using the winning direction from the poll today.
I'll be going live tomorrow night, March 16th at 7:30 pm EST (GMT-5). You'll receive an email tomorrow evening with the exclusive Picarto link for you to come watch and participate! We'll figure out the exact mechanics together on stream before (and possibly while) I make the illustration for the most voted on item!
Remember that this will be an official Saddlebag item and will not credit anyone for the ideas generated through this process. Please only bring ideas you're comfortable with sharing to the workshop!
Let's make something exciting together! See you tomorrow!

Breaker's Pride Maul, rare (requires attunement) This heavy, adamantine maul bears the signs of years of work and wear, representing years of its holders' independent efforts. You can cast haste on yourself using this hammer to channel your inner strength to accomplish tasks normally beyond your power. While the spell is active you cannot be targeted by beneficial spells cast by others as pride in your independence flows through you, rendering you unwilling to be helped, and you only gain half of the HP from healing spells that target you. You also cannot receive the benefits of the help action. When the spell ends you take a level of exhaustion. You can cast haste this way any number of times. "It was said he gouged that quarry into solid stone himself - alone - rather than admit he couldn't do it. As he lay there, light fading from his eyes, his detractors were forced to admit that he could."

The duel lasts until you or your target dies, or a Wish spell is cast to end the duel. While under this duel effect, you cannot willingly attack another creature other than your opponent, and if you are forced to do so, you make the attack with disadvantage, and attacks against you by creatures other than your opponent have disadvantage. If you win the duel, your weapon grows stronger. Choose from one of the following effects: - Precision: Whenever you choose this bonus, you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon, up to +3. - Viciousness: When you choose this bonus, choose a damage type. Attacks from this weapon deal an additional 1d4 damage of that type. You take this damage even if a feature (such as Halfling Luck, Reliable Talent, or this item's effect) allows you to reroll or treat the 1 as a different number.
Gluttony can be something that curses you to always be hungry, and let's you stack the perks of food related items, like the sugarbombs and goodbery
Pride's Sight: Not really sure here but I immediately thought of FMA:B. Pride's eye, the homunculus. I don't know something with Haste or combat being enhanced with greater or faster perception. Not sure.
Pride has the ultimate eye in FMA '03. Wrath has it in FMA:B. The FMA:B Pride has more of a shadow thing going on. I could see an item based on him giving you extra attacks against nearby targets, but using it overextends you, so the attacks have disadvantage. The ultimate eye could give truesight (90 ft.), and a certain number of charges to gain advantage on attack/perception rolls.
For Pride you could do some magic amulet that acts as a symbol of the right to rule, can cast various dominate spells and what not. For Lust it could be something similar with lots of charm spells etc. Gluttony could be something that lets you heal and potentially eat enemies, maybe like a large maul shaped like a spoon lmao
