Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Silver Preserver's Resolve — A scimitar decorated with the scales of a guardian naga. You gain protections against poisons and can spend charges to call down a heavenly pillar of fire or create a wave of poison. Additionally, if you fall to 0 hit points or less, the sword expends all remaining charges to stablize you but you appear to be dead to others for a minute.

2) Flask of Blue Flame — A crystal flask with a pale blue, liquid flame. You can pour out a drop to create a fire that produces either a cooling or warming effect, and additional drops can be added to increase the size and damage the fire does.

3) Beagle Light Bracelet — A silver bracelet that lets you summon a glowing canine companion who provides light to you and can also stand guard for up to 8 hours.

4) Vambraces of Sanguine Delight — These magical vambraces fit snuggly around your wrists, allowing you to deal bonus necrotic damage when you hit a bloodied creature. Additionally, when you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can expend Hit Dice to deal additional damage and gain temporary hit points.

5) Paranormal Trapper — A tiny magical cube that can be activated with a command word, covering an area around in strange light. An undead creature in the light is paralyzed when it enters the light if it fails the saving throw, or slowed if it succeeds.

6) Cloudtop Cushion — A beanbag chair that is made of clouds and beanstalk vines that allow you to complete your rests quicker. Speaking its command word also allows it to hover and drift about.

7) Staff of the Crossroads — A quarterstaff made from a crossroads sign with four separate signs pointing in different directions. You can use charges to dictate the direction of a creatures movement, or use the staff to detect the nearest settlements or well-known landmarks.
