Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Covolt Ring — This blue ring carries storm-like properties. While wearing it, you can cast the shocking grasp cantrip, and once per day, you can create an electric field that shocks would-be-attackers.

2) Bramble Boots — These thick leather boots protect you from wild undergrowth. While wearing them, you ignore nonmagical plants that impede movement, as well as damage from their thorns or spikes. When you cast the spike growth spell, you can expand the spell's radius by 5 feet.

3) Ring of the Spritely Seamstress — While wearing this ring, you gain a bonus to using weaver's tools and can store a set of tools in the ring's extradimensional space. You can also summon a spectral sprite who can magically sew you a garment in an hour before disappearing for several days.

4) Sleek Switchblade Comb — This rod has a button that flips out a dagger with a combed edge. Using the comb to style your hair causes the style to stay for up to 8 hours or until someone messes it up with their hands.

5) Amulet of Shared Emotions — An amulet with a moonstone set in the middle. While wearing it, the moonstone changes colors, and you can allow creatures nearby to feel your emotions.

6) Cloudtop Cushion — A beanbag chair that is made of clouds and beanstalk vines that allow you to complete your rests quicker. Speaking its command word also allows it to hover and drift about.

7) Blast Javelin — An explosive javelin that lodges itself into whatever it hits. At the start of your next turn after throwing it, the javelin explodes into a fireball centered on its location.
