Champion's Belt
Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)
While wearing this belt, you can use an action to automatically escape from any nonmagical grapple or restraint. In addition, your fists are considered to be +1 clubs, allowing you to make unarmed strikes with them as if they were weapons you're wielding with the normal properties of a club; if your Strength score is 17 or higher, the damage die becomes a d6.
Piledrive. Once per turn when you knock a creature prone and are wielding no other weapons, you can make a single unarmed strike with your fist (no action required) against that creature. Your attack roll for this unarmed strike scores a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Takedown Reversal. When a creature within 5 feet of you misses you with a melee attack, you can use a reaction to force that creature to make a DC 15 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature falls prone, provided it's no more than one size larger than you.

As it reads is it intentional that you can chain takedown reversal with piledrive as a reaction to knock a creature prone and hit it with advantage when they miss you?
Yeah!
I love this... but I see a problem. If you cause someone to fall prone with a Reaction, then its on their turn. So they can just stand up again, no risk, no problem, unless they already used all their movement, right? Would this item work better if, on a failed save, it reduced their movement to 0 **and** caused them to fall prone?
I believe as it reads it is meant to chain with piledrive to get in a unarmed strike with increased crit chance with advantage
