Bonus Content from Machines of Bone & Blood!

Hey heroes! I try to only plug Kickstarters when I think they're worth your while and offer you bonus stuff for your time and support of the Saddlebag. This campaign does both!

Check out Machines of Bone and Blood on Kickstarter!

TL;DR, there's a fun PDF attached to the bottom of this post. It's got gruesome necro-mechanical subclasses, spells, and magic items from the book inside! Take a look for yourself and have fun!

Somanyrobots, another 5e Patreon creator (who also made this book, which I also shared a post about), is launching a 300-page book themed around the Necroindustrial Revolution — a massive upheaval where bone machines and undead workers are used to remake a nation into a land of miserable necrofactories.

The Kickstarter for this book is in final 48 hours, so now's the time to grab your copy if this is sounding interesting to you!

The book has...

  • Two new classes, the Necromancer and the Abomination, each with 15 subclasses!

  • 20+ additional subclasses for other core classes!

  • Five new species, from stompy Awakened Trees to necroaugmented Bonebound!

  • 100+ new spells!

  • Necrografting! A new crafting system that lets you build undead augmentations and then attach them to your own body!

  • Adventures! Two adventures for every mini-setting to help you fight back within the Ivory Empire!

The sample PDF below contains two subclasses, some spells, and some magic items; you can find more (including the base Necromancer class) in the official Kickstarter sample.

I've certainly covered some themes like this (with more incoming), so I really appreciate the direction this has! Plus, the page designs are really well made, and the interior art is just as good! Plus, the magic items look great!

Have fun with the sample, and be sure to check out the Kickstarter campaign for the book (before it wraps up!) if you like what you see!

Keep on adventuring!

I hope it will be on D&D Beyond, because I like the things you've done.
