Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Shawl of Evasive Redirection — An airy shawl that glimmers with a rainbow of colors. When you take no damage when using your Evasion class feature, you gain a bonus to your next attack's damage based on the damage type avoided.

2) Pipes of the Seamount — A magical panflute that can be used to create different kinds of superheated effects, such as a cloud of boiling steam, a plume of smog, or a line of volcanic fire.

3) Concentration Pages — Adding these to a wizard's spellbook allows you to temporarily concentrate on a lower level spell without needed to actually concentrate on it.

4) Rainbow Naginata — A naginata that bears a crescent-shaped blade that shimmers a spectrum of colors. You gain a bonus to attack and damage and can expended charges to smite a creature for additional elemental damage at random.

5) Spider Silk Laces — Laces made from a giant spider's silk that can be laced into footwear or tied onto them. While attuned to the laces, you gain a bonus on Dexterity checks and saving throws on keeping your footing, and can gain temporary tremorsense, preventing you from being ambushed.

6) Lycanthropic Draught — This stoppered vial contains the alchemically treated blood of a werewolf. After drinking this potion, you temporarily undergo a partial transformation to gain some werewolf features, like resistances, increased speed advantage on Perception checks, and pack tactics. Your unarmed strikes also deal extra piercing or slashing damage. After the transformation, you must make Constitution saving throw to fight off the effects of the violent process of reverting to your normal form.

7) Shadow Shuriken — A light, four-pointed throwing star is forged from black steel, you gain a bonus to attack and damage when made with it and it immediately returns to your hand after throwing. When you hit a target within low or no light, you can magically teleport next to them, becoming temporarily invisible.
