Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Hawkeye Horseshoe Charm — This dual horseshoe charm is accented with a small crosshair eye. While attached to a firearm, you ignore disadvantage when firing at long range, ignore half and three-quarters cover, and can empower a headshot with necrotic damage, potentially blinding them.

2) Bayonet of the Blood Pact — A vampiric musketeer's dagger. You gain a bonus to attack and damage rolls while using it and can fix it to the front of a musket, heavy crossbow, or similar weapon. Creatures hit by the dagger restore a small portion of your health, and you can make a straight line charge attack, potentially knocking a creature prone.

3) Wandelabra Staff — An ornate brass staff that can hold up to three wands, allowing you use them as if you were holding them.

4) Banner of the Infernal Court — A tattered banner of a fallen kingdom that can be attached to a non-magical glaive, halberd, or pike, transforming it into a magically bonded weapon. While attuned to it, you gain a bonus to your Strength, can wield the it with one hand, can summon it to you as long as its on the same plane, and other benefits.

5) Standard Tassels — A strand of colored tassels that can be tied to a polearm. You can impress an image of a banner of coat of arms into it, and can created an illusionary duplicate of it to appear attached to the polearm.

6) Artful Doublet — A reinforced doublet that, when worn under armor, removes the penalties of wearing it while sneaking.

7) Longshot Stand — This tripod is designed for use with firearms, stabilizing them and holding itself level with magic. A weapon stabilized with the tripod can be deployed. While deployed, the weapon can't be moved, but its long range attacks are made normally, and its critical threshold is reduced by 1 (such as rolling a 19 on d20).
