Gauntlets of Grace
Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement by a paladin)
This pair of golden gauntlets radiates with inspirational vigor. They have 3 charges and regain 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn.
Spells. While wearing the gauntlets, you can use a bonus action to expend 1 of their charges to cast either the heroism or shield of faith spell from them, using your spellcasting ability modifier. Alternatively, you can cast a spell in this way as part of using your Lay on Hands feature; the target of the spell must be the same one you touch. When you do, the spell doesn't require your concentration, but it ends early if you cast another spell again in this way.
Replenish Health Pool. While wearing the gauntlets, you can use an action to expend any number of their charges to replenish a number of hit points to your Lay on Hands pool equal to 5 times that number of charges spent, up to your maximum.
Marius surveyed the destruction in front of him with grim acceptance: this would surely be the end for his team of idiots. Once again, they had insisted on walking into an obvious trap in a crypt. If he had a gold piece for each time they'd...
He sighed and looked across the large chamber at Stormbjorn—his favorite idiot rager—doing everything he could to repel the skeletal hordes. One glance at the idiot wizard told him he was just about out of magic, ideas, and magical ideas. The rest of the party looked haggard and spent in their own ways.
Idiots.
He ground his teeth in anger and balled his fists in frustration, hearing the clatter of his golden gauntlets as he did. The sound pulled him from his spiral for long enough to remember his oath. As he recited his tenets, he finished, aloud:
"Be the light," and a golden flash erupted from the gauntlets.
