Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Ideas
1) Storm Umbrella — An umbrella decorated a with severe weather motif that protects you against harsh weather. You can open the umbrella to create a massive cube of wind, protecting you from projectiles, making it harder to hear, and other benefits. Additionally, you can send the umbrella flying like a top inside the cube of wind, dealing slashing damage to up to five creatures.
2) Quintessence Crystals — A leather pouch holds these white crystals. When consumed as part of casting a spell, you can add additional die to the damage or healing done. Eating multiple crystals causes damage to you.
3) Rising Turret — This three-barreled firearm was built for defense. You can speak this musket's command word allows you to hover for a short time to deliver stronger attacks.
4) Reflexive Armament — A short and sturdy dagger that improves awareness and reflexes. You gain a bonus to initiative checks, Wisdom (Perception) checks, and Dexterity saving throws. Additionally, you can use the dagger to parry an incoming attack, knocking your enemy off balance if successful and lowering their AC.
5) Wrath’s Bounty — This heavy coin grants you advantage on checks to gather information or track your quarry. You can focus your senses to learn the general direction of your mark and gain a bonus in combat against it. The coin always returns to you if you ever part or lose it before you eliminate your mark.
6) Smog Baron’s Greatcoat — A reinforced greatcoat lined with hidden vents. While wearing the armor, you gain resistances to fire and poison damage and are immune to poisonous or toxic air. Additionally, you can expend charges to cast the cloud kill or misty step spells, or to release a scalding hot cloud of steam to deal damage to all creatures nearby, pushing them back.
7) Ghost Poem — A scroll that can be used to communicate with the dead spirits from a crime scene. The communication is told by way of a poem or lyric, and can hint at the locations or identities of clues, culprits, motives, and targets.
