Dead Sun Lamp
Wondrous item, uncommon
The interior of this brass lamp is covered in soot. While holding the lamp, you can use a bonus action to speak its first command word to ignite it, filling the glass with a small, fiery orb. While lit, it sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. You can use another bonus action to speak the command word again to extinguish it.
While holding the lamp, you can use an action to speak its second command word. When you do, the flame roars to a powerful brilliance. All other creatures within 20 feet of you that can see the light and aren't averting their eyes must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw; a creature that's in dim light or darkness or that has the Sunlight Sensitivity trait has disadvantage on the saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is blinded until the end of your next turn. In addition, any nonmagical flames within 40 feet of the lamp are extinguished when you speak this command word. Once this property of the lamp has been used, its light goes out, and neither of its command words can be used again until the next dawn.
The Sun might have abandoned us, but even diminished, its holy light can still blind those who behold its radiance.

How dare anyone claim that these wondrous works be anything even remotely close to AI-generated!
I don't blame them, really. It's hard to exist on the internet without a healthy / unhealthy amount of skepticism. If nothing else, this just lets me be a more familiar presence in the community, and I'm okay with that!
Loving these process clips!
Heh. I am absolutely picturing this in the study of an old drow wizard. Everyone thinks it's an ordinary lamp until the day the assassin tries to come for him...
