This string of carved bone figurines depicts five classic beasts found in the icy winter tundra. It has 4 charges and regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. As an action, you can speak the string's command word while touching a figurine to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast the polymorph spell from it, targeting only yourself and transforming into the creature associated with it: elk (1 charge), owl (1 charge), polar bear (3 charges), saber-toothed tiger (3 charges), or wolf (2 charges). This version of polymorph allows you to retain your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores while transformed, and it grants you resistance to cold damage for the duration of the spell.

If you expend the last charge from the string, roll a d10. On a 1, the touched charm breaks, falling from the string and removing the option to transform into that creature in this way.
