Heroic Ideas — Choose 2 community item ideas to be made!

Hey heroes!

Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

You can submit your ideas on Discord, too! Come join us in the #patron-item-workshop channel!

You may recognize some returning item suggestions! Items can be renominated and re-drawn for weekly polls following a week-long cooldown.

Here are the randomly selected item ideas drawn from this week's nominations!

Ideas

1) Scroll of Festive Obfuscation — This large scroll resembles festive gift wrap. As an action, you can activate the scroll, wrapping an object or creature and shrinking it down to a 1 foot cube.

2) Scuffle Scarf — A long, patchwork scarf interwoven with enchanted thread. While wearing it, you have increased tolerance for low temperatures. You can also send the scarf to restrain a creature near you.

3) Ugly Winters Sweater — This enchanted sweater appears to be the ugliest sweater each observer has seen. A rarer, warmer version can use the fire shield spell once per day.

4) Glitter Globe — This glass orb is the size of your hand and holds a visage of two pixies having a snowball fight. The orb can be used as a spellcasting focus and snowflakes appear to fall from it when you cast a spell. Holding the globe can change the scene as if by the silent image spell for 24 hours.

5) Trifrost — A frost-covered cobalt trident has charges that can be used to grant cold resistance to a number of creatures in it's frosty area. It deals extra cold damage while it has at least 1 charge remaining, or you expend all the charges at once to cast the ice storm spell.

6) Arcane Vellum — A roll of magical vellum used to wrap small objects, which can also be written on to display a short message. Once wrapped, you can speak a creatures name to have the vellum and object fold into a tiny envelope and teleport to the recipient as long as they are on the same plane.

7) Totem of the Tundra — A necklace crafted from various feathers, claws, and rune-scribed teeth harvested from wintery beasts. It can be used to cast polymorph on yourself by expending its charges, transforming into different animals, like an elk, owl, polar bear, saber-toothed tiger, or a wolf. More powerful beasts require additional charges.

Keep on adventuring!
