Harrier's Halberd

Weapon (halberd), rare (requires attunement)

This halberd features multiple blades that look like talons. You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. While attuned to the weapon, you can see normally at twice the normal distance in clear conditions, and you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

The halberd has 6 charges for the following properties. It regains all expended charges daily at dawn.

Flight. You can expend 1 of the weapon's charges as a bonus action to fly through the air to an unoccupied space that you can see within 20 feet of you. If you make an attack with the halberd immediately after landing in the new space, the attack is made with advantage.

Fling. When you hit a Large or smaller creature with the weapon, you can expend 1 of its charges to force the target to make a DC 15 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the target is thrown up to 20 feet away from you and knocked prone, or 30 feet if you used the Flight property immediately before attacking the target. If a thrown target strikes an object, such as a wall or floor, the target takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet it was thrown. If the target is thrown at another creature, that creature must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take the same damage and be knocked prone.

The old traveler was treading the high pass, trailed by a billowing robe of feathers, when he was stopped by a rank of guards. Among them strode a titanic golem of clay. The guards, arrogant in their royal dress, spoke to the man with venom.
"Step aside, old man, the king's carriage is due to pass, and all on his land must give way!"
The old man was patient. His smile was both placating and disarming as he replied.
"Oh? And he owns the mountain here, does he? With stone older than the very kingdom over which he reigns, perhaps only younger than the sky itself?"
"The land and the resources within are under his royal jurisdiction, old man. Spare us your feigned wisdom! Golem, forward! Remove this—"
From beneath the feathered robe thrust an unseen blade. Its movements were silent, like a swooping falcon. Its first strike rose high before carving into the golem's chest, launching the golem backwards. With a sickening crunch, its clay parted, and the construct's head shattered.
Then the old man walked on, turning only to give parting words.
"Listen to the stone and sky, and remember their uncaring permanence. Your clay and minds are molded by boastful immaturity, not hardened experience. I'll be on my way, and if I see the king on the road, I'll remind him the price of his young arrogance."
