Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Ideas

1) Book of Premeditated Murders — Writing a name of a creature in this book along with a trigger condition will cause an invisible murder of crows to appear in a designated place to assaulted the target creature. The target takes psychic damage if it fails a Wisdom Saving Throw and is affected by the phantasmal killer spell.

2) Dollhouse of Dreams — A hand crafted dollhouse that can replicate the inside of a known building. It can transform into a perfect replica of a building, control certain small objects in it, or allow you to see and interact with the known building via a spectral summoned toy.

3) Talon Boots — Heavy travelling boots of griffon leather and sharp claws. You can grapple a creature with a foot instead of a free hand and use a bonus action to deal piercing damage to it. Grappling a creature in this way reduces your walking speed 0, but doesn't limit your flying speed if you have one.

4) Wrath’s Bounty — This heavy coin grants you advantage on checks to gather information or track your quarry. You can focus your senses to learn the general direction of your mark and gain a bonus in combat against it. The coin always returns to you if you ever part or lose it before you eliminate your mark.

5) False Tooth of the Chivalrous — A single platinum tooth to be used in place of a missing tooth you might have. You can use it to make a rose of any color appear in your mouth as a bonus action.

6) Cacti Staff — This prickly staff covered in blooming desert flowers deals additional piercing damage when you hit with it. You can also expend charges to fire a barrage of cacti needles to deal damage as well as additional damage each time they move while the needles are stuck in them.

7) Scroll of the Sandstorm — A sandpaper-like scroll that summons a raging sandstorm in a sphere at your location that moves with you. The sandstorm grants you cover against ranged attacks, bludgeons other nearby creatures, and allows you to make reaching sand tendrils to attack faraway creatures. It lasts for 1 minute or until you lose concentration.

8) Hellish Heels — These high heeled boots meld to your skin when you attune to them, transforming your legs into those of a hooved fiend. They increase your Charisma and Intelligence scores, and you gain resistance to fire damage. They also have charges you can expend to stomp the ground to form a line of molten, cracked earth, forcing creatures in the area to succeed on a Dexterity Saving Throw or take fire damage.

9) Flying Kusarigama — This sickle is attached to a length of chain ending in a heavy iron sphere. It has the thrown property and you can pull the chain to return the sickle back to your hand as part of the attack. It can also be used to pull light items toward you, or disarm a creature holding an object on a failed Strength Saving Thrown.

10) Quantumfly Buckler — This round shield features a stained glass butterfly at its center. When you or another creature is hit with an attack, you can use your reaction to expend some of the shield's charges to temporarily increase the target's AC by drawing on energy from alternative timelines. Doing so comes at a risk of taking damage as expended timelines collide.
