So uh, apparently I forgot to do industry icons for the Neuko Cores.
So, do me a favor and vote on which one do you think is the right way to go? Which one should I do for Neukos?

The core makes more sense as once assigned to a ship they'll use a different portrait anyway.
To be honest now i wont be able to stop imagining a little miniature chibi version of Neuko just siting inside their chests, like imagine something happened and one Neuko got shot then a chibi version just climb out of the chest like from some Eva, A pocket Neuko xD
The results have saddened me lol well I guess it can't be 100 percent perfect to everyone
Hard choice but I'll go with cute factor of Chibis. I am sure it can still have some aesthetic link to how starsector cores look like.
I think the Neuko Core is more fitting.

Neuko core is definitely gonna fit Starsector a lot better than the chibi’s. As much as I would like to have the chibi neuko’s I don’t think it’d fit well.
Would vote for chibi in a heartbeat if it was up to my personal taste, but I went for the Core because it would fit the artstyle of the game more; the Aurorian peeps need not to look even *more* anime to look alien lol
Staying at the core config , more fitting into the SS artstyle . looking better on a overal scale than a chibi IMO . /we can see another home grow aurorian tech , instead of a , well , funy face in this case . (and we already have Nekuno portraits)
While the Chibi Neuko sounds and looks nice. I have to go with the Core instead, due how how long i have played Starsector and see AI as. As a Core, of various kinds. If i start seeing the Core as a Face, i will get worried for my sanity. However! I have a solution. How about making the Core give off a Hologram of a Neuko girl, the Chibi variant. Then you know how much UAF adores and cares for their Neukos, to give them even a Hologram as a Core, and that Hologram, even without being inserted into an Object, can communicate with Emotes! That sounds great to me!
It really depends, if it's going to be chibi shaped but still stylized as a form of electronic circuitry I would almost prefer that as it fits the theme more, but if it's a nekomata chibi head, face and all, then the actual core would probably be better.
the more AI cores I have in my inventory at a time the better the game is, so I'm sorry to all the chibi neuko stans but I need more abstract object circuitboards
I honestly prefer the core variant, it'll fit nicely into starsectors selection of ai cores
