Answers to Recent Questions & Concerns PLUS Future Plans
Hi there everyone!
I think it’s about time to clear up some recent concerns/questions/rumors I’ve seen floating around from a few random users throughout the community over the past couple months (from public posts, DMs, contact form, random discords, etc). See the post on Scarlet's Realm for answers to these questions (sorry too much info to include in one patreon post) ↓
[Creator] Why aren’t my updates getting reported?
[Creator] I have the N/A status next to my mods, why was I removed?
[Creator] I was removed from the mod list, how can I appeal?
Why aren’t creators informed when they are removed from the mod list?
Why is it ok for some creators to have early access updates, but you remove others for it?
Why am I experiencing bugs/crashes with a mod that was cleared?
What are your policies on AI use? Your rule is too blanketed!
Why are you labeling creators as using AI in your forms?
What makes you suspect a creator of using AI?
If you can’t find an answer to something or don’t understand the info given, just ask (you can do that through my contact form or my channels in SaD discord). I understand it can be confusing and I know a lot of it is on me because I’ve been putting off organizing my website and all the info on it for quite some time now. I do have other things going on in my life though that I have to prioritize as well. So a little patience and understanding would be greatly appreciated.
If there are any other questions or concerns that I haven’t covered here or the Help/Info page, please feel free to reach out!
Future Update Plans
Now that we have that cleared up, I’d like to share some plans I’ll be focusing on over the next couple months (all plans are subject to change):
Website Redesign/Cleanup – My current design feels so outdated (including the logo and graphics). I want to make all posts and pages easier to navigate and read/view for everyone (or at least more of you). I also need to re-organize all the information I have scattered around different pages.
Update the mod list tables – I have several updates waiting to apply to the mod list tables, including improvements to the colors, font sizes, and results for the Scan HTML. However, I’m holding off on this until after I do the website cleanup and redesign. I don’t want to update the tables now just to end up having to go back in to update it to match the website later. I’d rather do it all at once.
Add a “New Creator” Form for new creators to fill out if they want their mods tracked. It will include questions that will tell me their experience in modding. My rules will also be included in there for them to agree to in order to prevent creators from getting removed later because they weren’t aware of the rules.
Remove the “Unknown” and “No Known Issues” statuses and replace them with “No Reports” ↓
No Reports – No verified broken mod reports or known updates at this time. However, this isn’t a guarantee that the mod is compatible with the current patch.
This is my plan for how it’ll work:Instead of there being a compatible/all clear mod status, mods that have been cleared by their creators will be indicated in a new column: Creator Info (more about that soon)
“No Reports” would be the default status, so on patch days I would only have to change mods marked as Updated to No Reports.
This will keep the list more accurate and I’ll feel comfortable enough to clear the N/A status from most of the creators that have it.
I’ll have more information on all of these once they’re closer to the finish line.
Happy Simming,
Scarlet

Scarlet, let me begin by stating that I love your site and use it regularly. It is very helpful and a reliable source for those of us who use mods. I fully understand it in it's current form. When I check it, I look for the term "Updated." When I see it I know the creator as updated their mod and I should update the mod in my folder. I believe changing "Updated" to another term may cause more confusion than not. Your current terms are actually clear. Merging "Unknown" & "No Known Issues" to "No Reports" actually takes two different things and merges them into one. "Unknown" suggests the mod status is unknown - positive or negative. "No Know Issues" suggests there are no known issues and the mod may be ok to use in it's current status. (Once the creator has updated the mod, your site reflects the "Updated" status.) Looking forward to all you plan and hope that this helps. Sometimes a re-work is needed, however remember the mind looks for familiarity when searching, yet it never stops learning. Again, thank you for all your hard work and consistency in helping us enhance our gameplay. Much success. Have a Fantastic Fall Season. Ciao, MsD. 🥨🍁🍂🧣
Thank you Scarlet for all that you do especially for someone like me who needs to know the info you bring about creators! I hope life gets better for you and don’t let others pressure you to do more. Take it one day at a time ! It’s appreciated at least by me ! So excited for your new website design ! I know it will be awesome.
You're a rockstar Scarlet :-) <3 I appreciate you explaining all of this to those who needed the info! You, along with DP, and others who go out of your ways to keep explaining things are above and beyond great!
Thanks so much for all this! If you need a sounding board or back end organizing help, my other hobby is data integrity and organizing spreadsheets Thanks for all that you do!
