Mod List Update for May
Hi there everyone! I swear I see the word “update” so much it doesn’t even look like a word to me anymore lol! Anyways…
After receiving some feedback, I’ve updated the Mod List to now include the following features:
You can now select which column to search in (default: All) (thanks Tazmanyak).
When searching, all search words used no longer have to be from the same column. For example, if you tried to search for “MC Command Center Deaderpool”, no results would be found. This update fixes that. (thanks amethyst lilac & Tazmanyak)
Pagination is now at the top of the list as well for convenience (thanks julia)
New option “Hide Removed Mods” – Hides all of the rows from removed Mods/Creators. They’ll be hidden for both All Mods (the full MASTERLIST) and Your Mods (the list of YOUR mods).
Filter settings will now be saved for your next visit.
New feature: Scan HTML
New feature (Patrons Only): Filter Presets
New Feature: Scan HTML
(Early access until May 26th)
Finally no more searching for your mods one by one!
This option will allow you to select your mc_systeminfo.hml, mc_lastexception.html, OR BE-ExceptionReport.html since they all include the full list of your mods.
To use: Click the Scan HTML button, then select your latest mc_lastexception.html OR BE-ExceptionReport.html, the tool will scan and try to match the filenames from the full list in your exception HTML to the Mod and Creator columns in the Mod List. Once it’s finished, it will list all possible matches where you will go through and tick the correct ones to add to ♥ Your Mods.
→ If you don’t have an exception.html, you can use MCCC to generate a mc_systeminfo.hml (which also includes your full mod list). To do this, load into your game, click on a sim and go to MC Command Center > Sim Commands > Logging Commands > System Info Log. After you click System Info Log, your mc_systeminfo.hml can be found in the mod folder where MCCC is installed.
The larger your file, the longer it will take to scan. So, please be patient and stay on the page until it’s finished. Please check your results carefully because not every match will be correct, and some mods may not be found at all.
After taking many factors into consideration, I decided this would be better than a folder scan option.
New Feature (Patrons Only): Filter Presets
Since the new mod list rendered changelogs as Obsolete, I’ve added a new feature (for patrons only) to make up for that. The Patron Edition Mod List now allows you to create and manage your own filter presets. See the Mod List Guide for more info!
Rule Change Update
Last month I mentioned I was considering revising this rule ↓
Locking/Permanent paywalling one (or more) of their mods – If a creator has any mod that is only accessible by paying for it, then that creator will not be tracked. This includes requiring an account (locking) in order to download the mod. I need to be able to access all downloads for the mods that I add to the list. I will not create an account for ONE creator to do that.
After taking many factors into consideration and as much as I’d like to, I’ve decided to leave this rule as-is. I realized one of the reasons I put this rule into place is because I have no way of knowing if a creator’s permanently locked mod follows with the rest of my rules or not. In order for me to track a creator, I need access to all content from them.
Upcoming Patch & Plans
There’s a game update coming on Tuesday, May 12th (see laundry list). This will likely break some mods, so be prepared!
I won’t be making any updates to the list tomorrow (Sunday, May 10th) since it’s Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful moms out there!
Additionally, Thursday (May 14th) is my birthday, so I won’t be making mod list updates on that day either.
I believe that’s it for now, enjoy the new mod list update!
Happy Simming,
Scarlet

Hi Scarlet, I'm sorry to contact you in this way, i really want to respect your limits and do not think to be an exception in any way but i'm missing some details on one of your rule ; I know you exclude re-uploaded content without permission from your list, which is normal, but i saw you excluded a new creator i tried to submit who updated "abandonned" mods, she did so after asking and getting no answer for a long time and stated clearly the mods weren't hers and would return to their creators when and if they come back. For the people who'd want to adopt mods not updated for +1 year and get no answer from the creators, What would then be the steps she would have needed to take to be a valid modder? And what happens if we start making our own mods (since exclusion is for the creator not for the mod)? Thank you very much.
No one is excluded for updating abandoned mods, that’s silly. If it’s the person I think you’re talking about, it’s because they uploaded CC as gifts (not a revival) that include meshes from creators that do not have open TOUs. Next time, please use my contact form for questions like this.
Please do Adult Anya Briar x Yor Briar
Omg yes! This new scanning option could be a real gamechanger, thank you soooo much!
TY for this and Happy Mother's Day everyday!
Thank you. Also, you have the same birthday as my mom May 14. I don't know if you're a mom but if you are Happy Mother's Day and Happy Early Birthday. I am a stepmom to 5 wonderful stepchildren. My husband and I just celebrated our 9-year anniversary on May 8th.
Awesome, Happy Birthday to your mom too! I am a mom, my daughter is 19! Thank you and Happy Mother's Day to you and your mom as well! And Happy Anniversary! My husband and I just celebrated our 22 year anniversary on April 14th (we have a lot of "14th" events lol). 💜🌹
I don't understand x
