Holiday Vacation - Requesting Help + WIP Announcement
Hi there everyone! I hope you’re all doing well!
Due to the holiday (Thanksgiving, gobble gobble!) and needing a little recharge time, the Mod List will NOT receive updates November 23rd – 28th! Mod list edits will resume on Saturday, November 29th!
I may be able to get a few updates done on Wednesday, but no promises. Thankfully, it’s the time of year when there’s not much mod news going on anyways (as you can see in Mod List Updates lol). So, you’ll be ok without mod list updates for a bit while I recharge and enjoy the holiday!
→ I recommend following the mod news channels in discord servers like Sims After Dark and/or Deaderpool for recent mod news & updates.

WIP Announcement
I have some good news! I’m finally far enough along in this project that I’m comfortable enough to publicly announce it…
The Mod List Checker is getting upgraded into a web app: Scarlet’s Mod Checker (would love some better suggestions before release)
Scarlet’s Mod Checker is a plugin app I’ve been working on for my website that will combine the Mod List (SFW/NSFW editions) and the Mod List Checker into one easy to use web app. It will replace the current Mod List Checker.
With this app, you’ll be able to add mods to your personal mod list while you’re browsing the main mod list. Plus, no more redirect links in your personal mod list because you’ll access your list in the app instead. So, google sheet templates will no longer be needed. The best part…no more searching for your mods one at a time! You’ll finally be able to scan your mods folder and select potential matches to automatically add to your list.
If you’re a current Mod List Checker user, don’t worry you’ll be able to use your current list with the app.
I’ve been working on this app off and on (mostly off) for over a year now. Although highly welcomed and appreciated in the community, the current Mod List Checker was never meant to actually exist. Not long after I started working on this app, I hurt my shoulder. I had shoulder pain for several months, so my computer time was limited because it hurt to be at my desk. So, that time had to go into keeping the mod list updated instead. I wanted to put out something in the meantime though, so I whipped up the Mod List Checker to substitute for the app until I could get back to working on it.
Everything is now perfectly aligned for me to finish this app (light mod news, I’m focused on it, no more shoulder pain, more time on my hands). I’ve already made a good amount of progress on the app these last few weeks since mod news has slowed down. So, when I come back from my holiday break I’m going to do a few more tweaks/improvements to it. Then work on the design so I can share some screenshots (hopefully before Christmas). More details to come in the next few weeks….stay tuned!
