Realistic Project Updates
Being unsatisfied with the tedious process of adding clothes into the game (which included creating and baking every possible shape), I took it upon myself to create a system that would streamline it. Now adding clothes is as easy as importing them into the project and running a quick binder script, then the system takes care of the rest in realtime. It reacts to changes in the character's physique and solves it better than the old baked shape system ever could. While the results are nowhere near perfect, it does match and out perform what came before, and there are plenty of improvements that can be made in the future.
Next I want to focus on building a tiny demo where you can create a character and perform a few workouts. I did quickly implement some juicy new jiggle physics too, and upgraded the project to Unity 6 (with much pain), but now I'm ready to lock in on giving ya'll something to play with.
