Mega64 Record Club Ep. 1 - Husker Du "New Day Rising" (Album #428)

Bob Mould is still alive AND still tours. Check out one of his shows if you ever get the chance.

Its influence led to better albums to come from other bands. Otherwise, the album itself is kinda repetitive and one note. 1/5

As a Minneapolis resident I was stoked to see this as the first episode. Great job!

I love their track "What's going on" off the Zen Arcade album. You gotta check it out!

Girl who lives on heaven hill is awesome! Also cant wait for the Dick Botte episodes!

Seemed like it was moreover influential than anything. Personally, didn't like it but I did listen to it in the dark. Is it possible to play any samples of the songs in these videos? Pretty quiet for a music series.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Keep on rockin.....

I Apologize rules

Thanks for the podcast! Excited to listen to new music.

Very fun Shawn! If you ever encounter some black sabbath and you want a call in expert let me know lol

Love the new show Shawn. Been waiting for this episode since you mentioned it on the podcast

new day rising stuck in my head too it should have made its way into the playlist lol

Also the fact that the song for this week is one that you listened to a lot with Emma and holds a special place for you is so fitting for episode 1!

Love this idea! Great first show.

Lovin the show, good way to check out some cool albums. Liked 'I Apologize' off this record.

This is a great idea. Looking forward to more!

You should give a rating for each album. Good stuff!

Super excited! I hadn't heard this but the influence is obvious as you said. I loved the fast and heavy stuff. But punk albums can be tough when they're this long. Too many songs it gets overwhelming. And BB kings live albums are dope so very excited!

Extremely excited for the next album ..one of my favorites

love husker du :) excited to get to this and excited for more episodes

The return of Grooveshark!! Love the story behind the name

I've never been much of a movie-watcher but I fucking love music so I'm extremely hyped for this series! Especially once Lord Dick Botte graces us with his presence.

Ooh I like the length of this, I was concerned about having another full hour-long shown thrown into my Patreon watchlist. Looking forward to checking it out!
