Mega64 Movie Club: Uncut Gems
We simply couldn't conclude a year of Mega64 Movie Club episodes without paying one last visit to the Sand-man! We saw Adam Sandler's comedic side once again in our Happy Gilmore episode, so let's finally get to see him bring the drama in Uncut Gems. Shawn has very explicitly said he didn't want to see this because it looked "stressful," so let's make him endure it and see what we all thought at the end. Have a happy new year, everyone!!
Next episode is HOME ALONE 2: LOST IN NEW YORK.

I could listen to Derrick break down movies all day, he always has great insight
yes! love his input
I paused this episode halfway through before any big spoilers to go watch the movie and did not regret. Agreed that this movie is a masterpiece
this was a really fun episode, and i really thought some of derrick's analysis was really interesting.
Of course Derrick hates on A24 right at the start. I swear that take has got to be one of the worst trends that film snobs have jumped on recently.
It really is a tiresome meme.
Great ep, boys. You guys are getting better at having organic discussions on movies. Derrick doesn't even use notes no more but keeps things on track.
Hitler DIES at the end of Jojo Rabbit?!? I DIDNT WANT TO KNOW THAT
love the Safdie brothers. Really great energy in this and Good Time
