Mega64 Movie Club: Mulholland Drive

I haven’t watched this movie in a long time but I’m definitely ready to watch it again after listening to this. Great to have Movie Club back!

Mega64 podcast + Movie Club + Mega Strange = the holy trinity

I watched this, then watched Mulholland Drive, then came back to watch this again with my own opinions.

I’m pretty bad with faces so I had no idea Naomi watts was both girls lol

I took the old couple showing up at the end as her being confronted by the Detectives that were mentioned to have been looking for her.

Shawn seemed to really enjoy this one.

My favorite thing about this movie is that discussing it with your friends afterwards and piecing it together the more times you see it makes it feel like solving a mystery!!

What a top tier film.

This is the real reason I joined the Patreon.

I have been waiting for this for weeks.

This movie kicks so much ass. Saw it when I was 10 years old and loved it, so me and my dad went to see Inland Empire at an indie theater in Hollywood. Also a classic. The secret to David Lynch is that his movies aren't actually obtuse or pretentious. Have you ever had a weird dream? That's all you need to be able to access his work.

finally getting the reveal on the movie that made shawn unable to sleep

I’ve been waiting not-so-patiently for this one!! 🤩

hell yes, excellent pick for the return of movie club!
