Mega64 Movie Club: The 400 Blows
This week, Movie Club finally takes a left turn out of the superhero realm and travels as far as possible away, to a mystical land known as... France! It's an influential French film that you'll find on Criterion and other fancy labels. But is it as good as its legacy among filmmakers appears to be?
Next week's movie is MORTAL KOMBAT (2021).

I hope you review more animated films!
You guys are right - this is Derrick's first 5, just beating out his 4.5 for The Prestige.
Was very glad you chose to do this film. Always have heard about it but probably would have never the taken the time to watch it if you guys hadnt used it on here.
mega 64 movie cluyb
Love this film. In my top 15 for sure, glad y’all saw it!
We had to watch The Bicycle Thief in school for a film course, it's quite good. But please don't review it for Movie club, I think the older films get kind of boring as far as discussion goes (IMO!).
Best movie club ending so far lol
mk film? tight just saw it myself
Kinda hyped to see what you guys think about the new MK movie so I don't have to go see it
If you like the immersive vibe of this movie then check out Brassaï's "Paris By Night" photos. He's one of my favorite photographers and his stories of roaming the streets while taking pictures and intermingling with nightlife are fascinating.
