Mega64 Movie Club: The Black Hole (1979)
This week we watch The Black Hole: Disney's weird attempt to make their own Star Wars that's found a bit of a cult following over the years. The film follows the USS Palomino on its journey back to Earth when they discover a ship that was presumed missing.

Longtime fan here. Dont have a YT account so could never provide feedback. Taking this opportunity to tell you guys you mightve struck gold here. Refreshing to see a 30+ full on analysis/discussion just as yourselves(not in character). Might need to consider putting these on YT on a delayed release basis. Could potentially attract new fans. Wish you best of luck. EDIT: Needs more input from Shawn for balance.
I really love these, seems long overdue for you guys to put out a series like this.
Next week's movie is STRANGER THAN FICTION (2006)!
Aweosme! Love that film, keep doing these forever guys.
i love this series so so so much
Am I the only one who was hoping they meant this version of The Black Hole? https://youtu.be/y-v_GQGI_ZE
Rocco's gonna whack Derrick, I can feel it. The disrespect to his face is clearly a call to arms and Rocco has to sort out any bad weeds in his crew. The war of 2020...
This was closer to being Disney's Star Trek than being Star Wars, but like Derrick said no real distinguishing or memorable roles aboard the Palomino. The final scene was artistically interesting but just as incoherent as everything else in this movie.
I love this movie!
