I really like the movie (watched it alone at home in the dark stoned the first time) and it genuinely made me sleep with the lights on for two days after lmao. It’s undeniably a movie so Experimental that it at times it is miserable to get through, but at the same time no film has ever come closer to recreating the feeling of being in a nightmare, this feeling of total helplessness and deep, endless unease in this surreal hell. Just the experience of staring into a dark doorway and trying to make out a face appearing from the digital noise will stick with me. Not one I ever really recommend, but a movie I respect for creating such a genuine reaction out of me

Tried watching this alone without commentary first, and I think I turned it off around the same time Derrick walked out.

I liked the movie

So was Derrick's theater cut messing with Skinamarink's artistic vision and putting the jumpscare at 40 minutes and not at the end???

i find it hard to dislike a movie, i'll always find something i liked about it. not the case for this movie though i finished and thought "worst movie i have ever seen". loved getting the boys commentary during it, made it better to sit through a second time. after it was over i still dont like it, but thanks for the commentary!

I didn't enjoy this movie, but I'm glad weirdo films like this get made. Like if this can get a release and find an audience, anything can.

That movie was god awful but it was worth watching with the boys
