Mega64 Movie Club: The End of Oak Street

The whole entire block went back in time?! Yeah, okay, fine. Dinosaurs, time travel, sure. But you wanna TALK during the whole movie?! Now we have a problem. Watch us talk about this dinosaur movie while getting WAY too heated about theater etiquette and the absolute monsters who refuse to shut up in a theater.

Damn, I just went to a late showing of spiderman and parents with 3 kids were there. One kid had his ipad on the entire time. One kid was behind my seat playing with the chair and I think trying to touch me. One kid was running up and down the stairs after every fight scene. They ran out when a metal popcorn bowl was tossed down the stairs during a quite ending moment.

Speaking to my soul on bad theater goers - it's destroyed my theater love this past year and is only getting worse

more than half the review is not talking about this weird movie and instead they are just venting and its awesome. Dont change a thing.

If it’s part of that bundle on iTunes I’d love to see yall cover Magnolia sometime!

I would be curious to hear if you guys think it's still socially acceptable to yell "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" when someone is talking in the theater? I feel like that used to be the norm, and now people are afraid to start confrontations like that

The ending is definitely dark and fucked up on purpose. There's 2 of the neighbour girl at the BBQ showing that different instances of themselves can exist so she could have saved the other version of herself and her kids. Every other person the Mom saved played a direct role in their survival (expect maybe the asshole neighbour). The Dad and librarian sacrifice themselves and she gets the rifle from the old lady with the plant. If you haven't seen the directors previous films they're definitely worth checking out. It Follows is probably too scary for Rocco and Shawn, but Under the Silver Lake is a very good movie that kind of went under the radar.

Yeah, I think they'd like Under the Silver Lake. It's got the same vibes of Mulholland Drive

Rocco truly is the master of talking about a nonsense topic and keeping it rolling for hours. A great example is MLK 2018 Talk sum Sh*t segment

Shushed a woman who was talking at full volume at the start of Coyote vs Acme and she was appalled
