Mega64 Movie Club: Blow Out
Did you know this movie is available to watch for free on YouTube? Well, the made-for-TV version is, anyway! As it turns out, we didn't watch the same version of this movie, which led to some very different opinions. Find out who thought this movie was great and who felt like it was missing something...

So when Shawn says John Leguizamo he means John Larroquette. But when he says John Larroquette he actually means John Lithgow? If only they had a laptop with the internet in front of them...
38:38 congrats Rocco! Happy Pride Month to the mega64 boyz
YouTube for years had the remake of The Fog up listed as the original.
If you guys do a Crime Month you should do one where you share your thoughts on the 83 Scarface vs the 32 Scarface
You mentioned Mission to Mars and it triggered a memory of seeing that movie as a kid and being scared shitless when a martian tornado tears one of the astronauts apart. I haven't thought about that movie in 2 decades.
It’s a good scream…
FINALLY MOVIE CLUB IS BACK!
I gave up on YouTube movies because too many times I went to watch a movie on there and it was shortened, censored or edited in some way. Which I'm not against, but at least be up front with people about it. Anyways, this movie is dope and probably my favorite De Palma movie. Felt like he was having fun with the filmmaking on filmmaking elements and the storytelling. Loved that we got the crime from different angles through him going back to listen and remember what happened. The first wrong woman being killed was a great fake out too. Also I legit thought someone was going to get hit in that car scene through the parade. That was nutso. I will say, I do love the final scene and ending of this movie in general, but I can't help but think with all the fireworks and commotion that the final scream recording from Sally in reality wouldn't have sounded as clear as it did in that movie lol things like that and some poorly written lines from her here and there I can look past though. If you guys ever want to watch more De Palma movies you should definitely check out Phantom of the Paradise and Body Double. Also, if anyone wants to watch Blow Out you can watch it for free on Tubi and Kanopy.
great movie
Can’t wait for The Pest!
