Mega64 Vault: Dr. DDR
Garrett's dream came true! He was able to get a Solo DDR 2000 Machine!! But now he has to open it up to fix it. Can he make it work or will it be destroyed by him?

I know I'm late, but I have a suggestion for Garrett; Consider using a relay to invert half of the colored lights on the dance pad. Then instead of them all flashing, they move back and forth.
Who is in the background at 2:15:18 of the video?? I had a legitimate heart attack from it.
Dr Whooooooo (the tardis)
Just spent a good chunk of my work day with this playing and I just want more content like this.
I work at an arcade and it's so annoying when overseas cabinets have all those different connectors instead of plain old molex.
This was such a fun video of you all hanging out and talking shop about maintaining electronics, totally loved it

The 2x Champ has comeback
Kevin needs to show off his old modded consoles if he still has them. I'd love to see those.
As a fellow DDR player who also saw Garrett in noclip_2's DDR vid, his passion and dedication in getting this to work is very impressive. Just obtaining a cab is one thing, but maintaining (and modding!) it is a whole other beast. Glad he to see him jamming to "Can't Stop Fallin' In Love" at the end - those lyrics are iconic.
Everything i find out about garret makes me like him more and more always wanted to do this lol
Kevin is the perfect addition to the Fix-It crew
Love posts like this! Looking forward to watching
Easily one of the best behind the scenes videos on here! Love seeing Garrett in his element and talking in depth about how the machine works and the fixes he came up with. So inspiring and I'm super happy for him. I had the soft pads for the PS2 games and always dreamed of having an actual metal pad to play on.
Shawn, did you make Garrett fix this one too?
this is secretly a gift for shawn’s kids
Hell yes. Having a full DDR machine is the dream, that pad looks amazing!
2 hours? Getting some pizza and popcorn for this one.
oh yes
