Watch the Drama
Need you guys to watch The Hole In the ground. Has something in it I need to see discussed on Movie Club.
There's an anthology film from 1995 called Memories. It's 3 short stories I think 44min, 40mins and 28mins total. Huge names on the staff, all completely different styles and one of them is done as if it is shot on a camera in one take.
Wizards 1977 because I watched it recently completely blind and have had nobody to talk to about what that was
Mononoke would be awesome tho :-) or Nausicaa for another ghibli one
The Deep Fake Luke shit in The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett is atrocious.
Still wanting to hear Shawn's take on Beau is Afraid. He'd loooooove it!
star trek ii the wrath of khan
walkabout 1971
If you guys are actually doing anime you should do Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc (if you don't mind not knowing the characters and the plot beforehand if you haven't seen it I guess).
90’s Mortal Kombat movie for next episode just intime for the new movie
Animay would be dope. Just another anime month in general. I personally love the themed months that push both of the guys to try or explore something new or challenging rather than just giving the regular takes on newer films everyone else is talking about. Support the guys either way but just my preference!
Typical Billionaire Shawn Chatfield wants UNLIMITED POWERRRRRR
Shawn got so political at the end there I thought the episode changed to the Phantom Menace. Also Ani-May sounded like a good idea.
Would be cool to maybe hear what y’all think of Matt Johnson’s early films The Dirties and/or Operation Avalanche now that Tony is coming out
Would still like Solo. I know it's not great, but it's somewhat charming and I think it's aged rather well in context of current Disney Star Wars.
Please review "green ice" with ryan oneill.
love the podcast. I dig that for May 4th, two movie podcasts both did Empire Strikes Back
Please invite Garrett on and talk about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Your Trainspotting episode is one of my favorites.🙏
+1 The Crow and Conan were also great episodes, completely forgot sometimes they have guests, Fear and Loathing would be awesome
Obscure movie
Let’s go back about 20 years and review Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
North by northwest would be sick! I was blown away by it
Can yall please watch one of these two AMAZING Best Picture nominess that you missed from the last couple Oscar Awards? There's Sentimental Value, and Anatomy of a Fall. Both were underseen since they were foreign language here in the US, but they're both some of my favorites of the decade. And both do have a lot of english in it! Pls no more Star Wars
+1 on Anatomy of a Fall. Excellent movie
This is the only Star Wars movie I really *love* The original is good too but I was amazed by this movie when I saw it.
You guys should watch High and Low
May the 4th be with you tee hee
