Mega64 Movie Club: Being John Malkovich

Just like the movie itself, this episode is kind of all over the place—in the best way. We bounce from Hitchcock to Rob Reiner to the Star Wars movies… and yeah, we eventually talk about this movie too. Give it a listen!

I would skip Princess Bride and do a Pluribus season 1 review.

I would be completely onboard for Princess Bride Redux, it's gonna be a huge waste of time but in the "so stupid it's funny, why did we do this" kind of way that gets me every time

This was great, and I think I liked Adaptation even more. I remember reading a Cracked article about how that scene when John Malkovich gets hit with a can on the side of the road was not scripted; it was just some guy being an asshole and they kept it in the movie.

You guys should absolutely watch Synecdoche, New York at some point. One of the most interesting movies I've ever seen. It's a must watch in my opinion

I think you guys should definitely watch Synecdoche (suh-nek-duh-kee) New York for movie club. It’s definitely a lot, maybe bordering on too much but since it has such strong themes of making art, I’d love to hear the discussion you guys would get from it. Jon Brion’s score is amazing in it too.
