Anime month continues with the 2004 film Mind Game! Today we watched Masaaki Yuasa's artistic directorial debut. Will this be the movie that wins Shawn over?... Maybe!

My vote - pause anime & do spooky for october - then pick anime back up for november
Spooky all the way.
FRIGHT NIGHT
I'm voting stick with anime, November has nothing going on so spooky movies can continue into that if need be.
First slaaaam dunk!!!!!!!
My vote is for Slam Dunk!
First Slam Dunk!
Slaaaaam duuuunk! Just extend horror month into November by watching that horror Thanksgiving movie from last year
first slam dunk

Fright Night
Stay the course on anime, Slam Dunk heads want Shawn to see it
Stick to anime, do slam dunk
If anime month goes into Nov or Dec, Tokyo Godfathers is a great movie for the season
I could see Shawn getting into Tokyo Godfathers. Incredible and wholesome film that's also straightforward without any of the surrealist stuff he tends to dislike
Horror movies during October then resume anime month in November
Anime
Please stick with anime! I’d love to see you talk about Slam Dunk or Promare :)
anime month being during birthday hell month; why do we keep giving shawn his toughest battles
has Shawn seen any ghibli films?
Totoro was a fucking nightmare
The First Slam Dunk is one for my favorite movies I’ve seen in recent memory, would be great to see up next
Continue with anime month!
Hey! I sent this blu ray to the podcast a few years ago! Was so excited it had finally released in HD. Glad to see it all come back around and hear your takes
This is a really unique film but I feel like Paprika or Tekkonkinkreet would have made for a more engaging viewing experience for Shawn. Also, Slamdunk!
Stick with anime month 100%
Slam dunk!
Do YOU want us to continue with the next two anime films OR divert to spooky movie season next?
I think you should divert to horror movies and then come back to anime in November.
spooky anime
I vote for sticking to the themed months and finishing out the Anime movies. Looking forward to horror month!!
