Thoughts out loud

I'm thinking that I've been working, reworking, and reworking so much (because I've had to change many things I've worked on for better design or because they didn't work properly or didn't work as they should) that I should slow down with SELENA Belly Story.

Because I feel like I'm moving very slowly (I am), but I'm working really hard, and that's causing me a lot of stress. And that's bad for me, as well as my Patreons.

I know I'll end up doing it, but maybe wanting to make such a big game requires me to slow down, as that would be counterproductive. In a few days, I'll be going on vacation until August, and in August, there will be a new Early Access update.

Who knows, maybe I've reached the point where I can't keep this up, and it's better to take it slow?

But I'm also stressed because I feel like I'm not being fair to the people who are supporting me on Patreon. I'm even considering shutting it down altogether, keeping the names of those who supported me in the game's credits, and continuing the rest of the game on my own.

I'll figure out what to do, but I don't want to be a cheapskate. I've received a lot of support and I want to translate that into the game, but I also don't want to "rip off" the Patreon supporters.

Thank you for read :)

Keeping it slow and taking a step back can help you view the project in a more open light. I don't think you need to remove patreon as people can choose to just temporarily unsub if they find the content to be to slow.
