Poll: Do you think I should commission a translation for Aicomi?
Hi there!
I've talked with the translator that was commissioned for some of the previous games that I've made HF Patches for. They are interested in translating Aicomi for a pretty reasonable price.
Now the question is, is a better translation worth the decent amount of money and time?
It would probably take about 2 months to finish. The translation would include story text for each of the unique story characters, as well as all talk scene text for normal characters. It would NOT include subtitles because they were AI-generated from voice clips - there is no original text to give to the translator, and I will not pay insane money for them to transcribe hours of moaning.

i have never played the game but fyi not meaning to take work away from anyone and i honestley think a paid translator would do a better job but i do know on dl sight i think it is there is a free translaton group for henti games called tranlators unite just out of curostity i tried to take there test and i found myself searching google for the language i was like ok you really really need to know both english and japanese in order to do this .
Translators Unite is a part of DLsite, they are not free. They may offer a free translation to the author in exchange for sales exclusivity and/or other concessions. You can't ask them for a translation if you're not selling on DLsite, and there would be no point in doing so since you can just ask one of the translators they contract directly (as I often do).
I would wish for chara-card converter for AC back to SVS
I think someone posted one on KK discord.
I wold be waiting to see how many people take it up. Cause and effect. Or, never put the cart before the horse.
If the price is reasonable, then I think it could be worth it. I doubt the game will come to Steam anytime soon
I'm conflicted. On the one hand the auto-translation is absolutely terrible and needs serious upgrading, on the other hand I have found AIComi itself to be quite lacking in features compared with Koikatsu.
What was this game again? Perhaps I'll give it a try before next summer.
if there a steam ver. yes but i dont think i heard of this game.
Yes, better translation is needed.
The current translation is barely adequate. It gets the point across, but answering questions is a matter of guess work. Don't got broke with this, but it certainly is needed.
I'm avoiding it. I haven't enjoyed anything as much as KKP/S. I think largelly due to the sheer volume of mods out there and the abilty to make more anime based characters (don't really make or care for OCs), and just conserving Hard drive space. If I see it on sale I might go for it. Also if they basically made one of these that WASN'T set/centered around Highschool students that'd be great.
It's anime style, so that's always expected since it mostly caters to weebs. If you want more mature looking ones, there is semi-realistic style like Honey Select 2.
Might it be possible for translations when you look or touch, i think there's other places where there's no subtitles too
Unfortunately haven't played it, but I'd never say no to improved translations in anything. Can only improve quality imo
