Nungubon Interview | Karuhat vs Saenchai? Gambling & Muay Thai, What Has Been Lost

(above) We're really happy to be able to present the voice of such a legend of the sport, Nungubon Sitlertchai who had one of the great careers in Thai history, gives his views on the greatness of Karuhat & Saenchai (who he both fought), the role of gambling in Thailand's culture of Muay Thai, and so much more. We need to hear the greats themselves as we seek to celebrate and preserve this wonderful art and sport, and your support of the Muay Thai Library makes this possible. We're adding this to the Legend's Speak Collection, chances we've had to interview the greats, so you can hear directly from them.

 Some of what he covers:

• As someone who fought both Karuhat and Saenchai, how do they differ?

• The greats he looked up tp and then later fought against.

• How has he raised his own son as a fighter, given the modern landscape of Muay Thai?

• His thoughts about gambling and how they impact fights/fighters.

• Why Femeu is the hardest style for him to fight.

• How Muay Thai has changed.
