January SS Reward #2 - 'The Pill' Build 0.5.5!
Update: I've added a couple of alternate links with different video encoding for the animations. These may help with certain instances where the animations don't play (but not all when it comes to Android).
Greetings and salutations all! To round out this Pill heavy month, we have another update to the game itself!

Version 0.5.5 mostly focus's on our girl Trish, completely voicing her chapter (with a massive thanks to Oolay-Tiger for reprising her role) as well as giving her a complete graphic overhaul with new materials, new background, improved animations (some extended, and all with new sound design) and a couple of tweaks to her expressions and dialogue.
But there's no point in pimping up content if you have to squint to see it, so in addition to all of that both Belle and Trish's respective chapters have been re-rendered at double the resolution - taking it from 720p to UHD (2560x1440).
We've also implemented the skip function that was in Luca and The Mistake chapters and added them into Belle and Trish's for easier navigation.
I'd like to give a massive thanks to everyone who was a patron in January, we've been doing a lot of Pill stuff lately, so in Feb we're going to be focusing on a standalone BE comedic animation, which will also try to make things a bit more grounded in terms of size and reactions (as far as I'm able to restrain myself...)
We'll also be sending out the polls to all patrons past and present to get your say on what the 3500 community goal animation should look like. So in all it should be a bit of fun!

can i download the pill without using MEGA, is there another place to download? My account is limited and I can never download the full thing

That's awesome that you love the game so far! The big push for 2023 has been getting the endings animated - you can see those here https://www.patreon.com/collection/62639 - and I have been working with the VAs to get more of the game fully voiced and sound designed. There will be a game update in early 2024, more on that to come 馃槈
I have also noticed that if you speed too fast with the skipping the text it can cause the choose bubbles to disappear on mac so be careful if you get to a part in the game that doesn't have a skip option if you are trying to 100% the game and get all achievements
The game engine does struggle if you try to speed run it that's for sure 馃檭
Luca Chapter on both Android versions freezes upon selecting it, or attempting to load a game save made during a freeze
Can we get an updated walkthrough for all the endings, for v0.5.5?
We are working on updated walkthroughs, its taking longer than we'd hoped but more walkthroughs are coming.

Hi Ryan, I'm sorry to hear that. If you give me some information I can try to help. Firstly what platform are you trying to run it on? Secondly what error are you getting? The more information you give me the better my chances of solving the issue.
Hey I love the new chapter but when I play the other chapters I cant get the cinematics to play and it just stays at a black screen is there a work around I can do

Lately the videos in the game glitch out for me. The gameplay itself is fine and the UI is fine too. In the past when it happened I cleaned my pc a bit but now it doesn't seem to work. Do you think my pc simply isn't compatible with the game at this stage of development? I run a 2012ish laptop but it has windows 10 installed on it. I don't know if it's the computer lagging or the program too advanced for my piece of junk
That sucks. Technically the game should be able to be able to be run on relatively modest hardware (though having an SSD always helps). What resolution are you running your monitor at? Have you tried to play in windowed mode (you do that by hitting Alt + enter in game)?
Now that Trish's voice is added to the game, when do you feel Trish and Belle will be ready to record their lines for The Party and The Mistake?
We're working with the two voice artists to finalise a production timeline at the moment so we can get these out as soon as possible. As soon as we've got it all locked in we'll let people know.
That was a great update Oolay-Tiger was awesome and the updated scenes were phenomenal especially the new FMG all I could think "The spirit is willing but the flesh is too spongy and bruised." Fantastic update.

The new updated FMG scene was top notch! If I had to nitpick, it would be that the Surprise Apocalypse achievement doesn't match the updated scene.
I had a sneaky suspicion you would enjoy those :) We ran out of time to get all of the achievements updated but will do another sweep to check.
