February SS Reward #1 - The Pill 0.4.8
Greetings all! I am happy to finally announce the release of the next instalment of The Pill. This has been a long time coming and the biggest single update thus far. The changes I've made have impacted every element of the game, so I would not be surprised if there needs to be a quick fix released in the next few days but until then, I hope that it works well enough for you all to enjoy!

This is what I'd consider to be the final entry in "Part 1" of The Pill (content wise). Beyond the new Luca content, I've also added in some easter-eggs into the other chapters that helps to tie everything together. Rather than having you have to stumble through old content to find them, I'll tell you where they are:
Belle - Give her a butt pill then tell her to undo. Then give her sass.
Trish 1 - Give her a 'height' pill, tell her that she's "tall-er" and then taunt that Belle would do it.
Trish 2 - Give her a 'height' pill, tell her that she's tall "among other things", select a boob pill, note that amazons had muscles, attack the amazon.
Party - Run for your life the first chance you get.
There are also two similar eggs in the Luca chapter, good luck finding them!
Now for a full rundown of what's new in this update:
Added around 11,000 words of additional script content
10 new endings, taking Luca to 15
16 new animations
25 new achievements, taking the game's total to 99
15 new music tracks
New dialogue UI
New achievement gallery UI
Reworked all the achievement previews to work in the new gallery format.
Game now defaults into full screen.
Re-worked how Luca's endings are summoned. This means a slower load time to get into the chapter, but faster loops when you 'reverse time'. The other chapters remain the same. This also means text will fade on rather than write on.
Added a 'skip' button to Luca's chapter, and the first conversation of the other chapters. This will be fully rolled out in a future version.
Re-made the first 'height' animation in Trish's chapter to better show her height growth
Added 3 new character models.
The game will now launch in full screen mode.
There are also a couple of known bugs that I'm trying to squash:
When loading into the game, if it is at a save point (e.g. at the end of a loop) then this will generate an empty save slot that does nothing.
Sometimes when loading from the 'load game' page, the page itself may not unload. This will result in it appearing over animations. In this case, the game must be re-set to fix.
On occasion, a character may not unload at the end of a cycle, resulting in two characters at the start of the next loop. In this instance the game should be saved and re-loaded to fix.
The gallery has been known to disappear, especially if played in windowed mode, in this instance you will need to exit and go back into the gallery to have it reappear.
If you click through too quickly the choices menu may either select the first option or not load at all. In this instance, save the game and re-load back in. There may or may not be some visual bugs but finishing the loop will solve these.

Awesome work! I have only one question, how can i get the "Juicy wobbler" achievement?
Damn, it actually kinda made me sad that having one of each pill did what it did. I really wanted to see Luca as an absolute goddess with all of the wonderful things combined. Still amazing content though!
Hello! Love the game so far! I have an issue with Luca's story however. When I press on her chapter the whole game closes down. I tried reloading it but it's the same. I'm playing on a Samsung galaxy A32 If that helps? :)
What does vitality do for Luca
It does a bunch of things. The ten new endings all involve vitality in some way, and the results are varied. If you want a sense of what they might do, check the tags of this post.
Well that was fun, managed to unlock all the new Luca endings and achievements, even the hard to find "Breaking boob" one. While some of the new fetishes featured might not be my cup of tea, this update should give "something for everyone" I would feel, except of course futa which is another ball of wax entirely. My only gripe is the very disappointing "trifecta" ending. I do get it's setting something up though, and that does intrigue me where that's going.
There was definitely a variety at play here, and I tried to get as much BE action in as I could, though you're right the approach was a bit more 'something for everyone'. I knew the trifecta ending might be a bit controversial, but it is indeed setting up events for the second part of the game.
how do you get the quite full ending
Hi macgarmon, that one is an animation rather than an ending. It's on the way to the 'totemic' ending (charisma x 2 then vitality).
Love how a lot of Luca's growth results are not immediately obvious, especially with the vitality pill. Very creative and unexpected. I liked them most of all. And the humor and personality of the characters make them all very likeable. Great job!

Playing on PC, Luca's arc Vit/Doc/Char. The animation shown a stronger growth then the not doctored Vit/Char, but her model while talking after is the regular Vit/Char model and has the regular options. I feel like this should lead to the breaking boob ending but is glitching to the regular endings...
The animation there should be the same regardless of the doctor input (the breaking boob unlock isn't an ending per se, but a reward for persistence. If you want more info I can shoot you a DM. As for the animation being more bosomy than the stills, that's more a factor of her positioning (e.g. she thrust her chest out in the animation and it's from a lower angle). It's also possible I made it slightly bigger so that the change was more noticeable in motion, but it shouldn't be by much.
Awesome render-work and well-crafted dialogues with light-hearted and fun characters. The pure replay value really shows the effort you put in! Loved the one shrinking ending most – unexpected but very welcome. Hope to see some more size stuff mixed in-between from time to time, best in the range of +- 1/3 of “normal size” :)

I haven't yet had the chance to find many of the possibilities, but I really love the creativity you put into Luca's new endings. They can be really unexpected and much more interesting that just here is bigger X.
I very much felt that being this far into the story that I needed some more creative exchanges than just 'here be boob', so I'm glad it paid off for you :D
Having an issue where occasionally Luca’s endings don’t load and I’m left with a black screen till I return to the title screen. This happens when I take different paths to the same ending (ie reaching helium from two different paths). Also, some of the options I’ve chosen don’t earn check marks after I’ve chosen them.
On a non bug-related note, still having trouble finding some of animations, although I’ve got every ending. Great addition to the game and I’m really enjoying it. Looking forward to the future

Is that just in Luca's chapter or all of them?
Just played through Luca’s update and I loved it. The variety of transformations here is amazing and I can’t wait to see the animated endings!

Excellent work so far. The animations also the render works are top quality. There are some bugs in the Luca Side, but a restart helped every time. I have to say: the Ass Expansion of Luca really impressed me. The grow while it but cheeks wobble...absolutly amazing! What I miss (as Bimbo, MtF and BE Artist and Fan) is a Bimbofication of Luca. She as Nerd would be the best Bimbo, also Trish :D But that is not so important. As Artist and as Fan I just can give you my deepest respect for that quality.

I'm hoping the bugs will be chipped away with the new quick fixes, and if not then I have some other tools to rework the chapter to make it work. Bimbo is a tricky one, as tonally it is a grey line of consent. I want the game to be light hearted (with moments of shade). Luca's chapter is probably the closest I've got to mental manipulation and I'll continue to walk the line, though with a 'no one gets hurt' kind of way. In an also pragmatic move, many of the VAs I want to eventually use are big on consent and that crosses the line for them.
Sorry my dude but the game is unplayable on Android. No videos play and the vitality pill animations crash the game

So i've gotten all of the endings for Luca, according to the number for her at least, but in the achievements section I still have "By any means" "Hourglass" and Add a lil sugar" locked, i've gone through some more times and can't seem to find them. I know I have all the endings, but i'm a bit of a completionist, any help?
Those ones are ones that have generally vids that play along two ways to get the ending. By any means should be 1 charisma then 1 power Add a lil sugar should be 1 power then 1 charisma Hourglass should be 1 vitality and 1 charisma Let me know if they're still not unlocking for you.

What's this I see in the achievements about Cake? 🤔
That one is related to taking all 3 types of pill, (the same as Chrono Triggered) it is the alternate route to the animation depending on which pill order you take.
Also would we possibly getting a sprite sheet for Lucas chapter anytime soon?
It'll be released in the future, as will the animations, just when I get the time to compile it all.
Despite the few bugs I encountered this was definitely your best work yet. I’m curious how part 2 is going to work and I’m even more eager to see how you animate all of these endings

when in full screen some of the options get cut off. any way to fix this?
I'm guessing you're using the game in an ultrawide monitor? I'm working on a fix for that which I'll release once a bit of time for other bugs to come to light. Tomorrow at the latest.

Breaking boob is part of her chapter, it relates to the suggestion to take her to the doctor after 1 vitality pill. And thanks, very glad you enjoyed it :D
When I try to launch it, my PC (or rather AntiVirus) tells me that the Pill.exe was infected with 'IDP Generic', which is a virus that steals data, apparently. I downloaded the PC version. Am I the only one who has this? Why could this happen?
Are you using Avast or AVG antivirus software? Android version crashes a lot during the luca chapter, seems to crash every time without fail after the vitality option when it says you notice something below her hips.
Interesting, that's when one of the animations play, which is a known issue for some phones. Do the other chapter animations work? e.g. Belle's?
Android version doesn't install :c and my computer broken (but ill get a new one it okay :3)
I have a 2k PC and the game isn't scaling correctly to my monitor. I used alt+enter to go windowed and now the graphics are stuck. How do I 'reset the game'? Just deleting the folder doesn't seem to work as there appears there are some hidden files else where on the PC.
There are player preferences in the registry editor. HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> B.E. Grove. Wiping these should reset the game window.
Hey just wanted to give you a heads up when you do the first "Belle - Give her a butt pill then tell her to undo. Then give her sass." when it begins again the background changes to the one used for Luca ^^
Bugger! Thanks for letting me know, I missed that one. If you play through an arc it should be fixed on the reverse time. I'll get a fix for that, but will see what other bugs people find in the next little bit before releasing a new version.
