June SS Reward #2 - The Pill: Bountiful Harvest 0.1!

Hey everyone, today we're releasing something that I consider to be a bit special - the next chapter in The Pill story in the form of a farming/life sim!
This is pretty different to our previous entries, so I ask people to come in with an open mind. It's a slower burn game, but if you give it a chance I hope you'll find there's a solid transformation game in there. Certainly in the playtesting both Lady Grove and I did, we found ourselves shifting from "debugging" to just straight up "playing" the game, which is a good sign IMO.
(Just a note on the debugging, we've done what we can, but given this different scale of the game there may be some other little issues that pop up - just let me know if you come across them and I'll try to sort it asap, especially if it breaks your game).
So with v0.1 we've got a solid foundation here, but If the game turns out to be popular I've got heaps more ideas to go into it, including:
Bigger transformations
More transformation types
Romanceable villagers
Transformable villagers
More expressions for Belle
More locations
But that's all in the future - for now I hope new folks enjoy the game as a standalone element... and veterans discover some of the easter eggs we put in there as well!
Finally a massive thanks to everyone who was a Patron in June! It has been a massive one for us, between building our most ambitious game yet, to our whole house having a month long bout of Influenza A, I'm spent. But after a few days rest I'll be back at it in July - jumping back into the animator's chair with a new standalone BE animation!

Unfortunately our games aren't welcome in the Apple store so they don't work on iOS devices.
Have you tought about making also some futa update? im sure it would be really hot if you could grow that too.

Hey it is a really good game I played in on pc and I am looking forward to the updates of the BH game it is amazing and is there a way to go to the guards part in the game where it says you need to wait to be invited to see the guards?

We're going to put a poll out nearer the end of the month that may determine the answer to this question.
Seeing the gradual growth is really enjoyable, I got to max size in 55 game days. Some thoughts though if you're looking for feedback: the early days seem a little slow in terms of progression, maybe some extra money at the lower levels? + At the endgame you can end up with multiple plants in one day, maybe a way to take multiple at once to speed up the process and/or taking different plant types for two different animations in one night? Just some ideas, thank you for all the work!

It be cool to have a height scale to see how tall belle is and how much taller she grows as well as a scale for how much her boobs and butt grow

Loved the game got super into maxing everything out. Have some suggestion/thoughts about future stuff. Would love to see something done with the lactation and cow references. Purchasable milking machine, then unlock the option to generate jars of milk each day as a new option to sell or gift to others (with some additional effects)

😊 I'm going to assume all these suggestions mean you like the game. Lots of options for future versions for sure.
How about adding quests, OR other areas, OR being able to actually do something with the people at the town hall, OR Where's Trish? OR some mechanism the removes any upper limit on growth and allows you to expand indefinitely.
Grove said that Trish is in the distant future, so she isn't going to be in Bountiful Harvest.
Also, a Futa Growth Seed/Path might be interesting.
As long as there's a setting to turn it off, I'll allow it.
love this so far. can't wait to see all the other things added in the future. as someone who loves the height growth, i think it would be a little cooler if maybe you saw the whole body in the bed as opposed to just the legs, makes it hard to see the real growth like with the ass and breast scenes. love how the games are progressing!

Hello first of all I love this game... it's a very good start. As suggestions to keep in mind or implement it: 1- Bigger transformations and from different angles. 2- Nipple and areola growth seeds. 3- Transformations in the other characters. 4- others that seem good to you will be welcome. very good work

Adding different transformations into the game is something I'm looking at but not sure which ones.
Played solely for butt expansion. Tiddies are cool too but so happy for quality ass growth. Looking forward to larger sizes!

Found a bug: When I had to pot to harvest I grabbed the plant from the left and when I clicked on the center when the screen showing what I grabbed up it then showed me what I grabbed from the center. Problem is I only git the center one while the on on the left was a seed again.

Definitely not the end of the project. Max size is still TBD (its a balance between a bountiful chest and not making the game an impossible size 😉

Unfortunately not, though I wish there was. Apple doesn't allow games like BH in the store so there isn't really a workaround at this time.

I beat it my first time playing. Love it, and I hope you continue to update it! I know this isn't your main thing, but I'd love to see some belly expansion as well.

This game is one that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Despite being in its early stages of development, it already boasts a great atmosphere and an amusing storyline. The animations are typical of Litch's style: finely detailed and well-executed. However, there's a downside in that the same animations repeat multiple times. For instance, depending on the type of plant seed, you'll see the same animation 3-6 times before it advances to the next stage. This does detract from the enjoyment somewhat, but it's understandable given the early stage of development and the time-consuming nature of such animations. Overall, it's a game that I highly recommend to everyone.

I'm really enjoying the game. Played more than an hour past my bedtime last night. I'm using a mac and I get a lot of flashes of a black rectangle behind the characters, that sometimes overlaps part of their faces or hands
Playing passed bedtime is a huge compliment, thank you. I haven't as yet found a solution to the black rectangle but I am looking into it.

This was so much fun! adding more growth alongside more different paths would be awesome. The height growth was great, can't wait for more!
As a side note, you should definitely include more height growth in your games.... You guys are so good at it!!

Love this concept and loved the initial release, as someone who enjoys farming sims i never really thought if this combo but its fantastic! A couple of notes/ideas/bugs: Bugs: - i discovered that if more than one plant matures at the same time, you can click the harvest button through the screen that shows the collection for the other plant(s) doing so harvested both plants but only gives one butt/boob/tall plant the other plant regresses to seeds and will stay as seeds unless grown with fertilizer Notes: -The idea of balancing consumption and selling the fruits of the farming labor is a great idea, but it feels undermined by the trinkets and the ability to work at the bar/medical hut especially when having 10+ in a stat can earn more than selling a single plant. In future versions id love to see these working mechanics nerfed or even done away with all together with more unlocks like the woods for reachin certain sizes in the stats. -Being able to buy/forage seeds is nice but ultimately it feels like it undermines the 'scarcity' the story implies, id almost rather see some sort of seed harvesting mechanic from the different plants with some additional fertilizer options to do things like multiple vegetables(?) at harvest or increase the 'quality' so it gives +2 instead of +1 -the farming mechanics seem pretty barebones in this initial release, id love to see this expanded upon in later versions to give more of a fatming sim feel! Ideas: -most farming sims have the additional aspects of livestock, i think itd be interesting/cool to see people coming to work for Belle in exchange for an constant supply of transformation plants, like maybe Belle gives a villager complaining about having a small bust a boob plant and after fulfilling a request for 5 more boob plants the woman shows up at the farm the next day offering her services in exchange for a consistent supply of boob plants. This gives Belle a 'Milkmaid' she can then harvest Milk from and sell as a dairy product. -what if there was some sort of plant seed splicer where Belle could splice two seeds together to get different results, wether thats combination plants or new transformations or even amplified plants, like maybe combining two tall seeds gives a mega tall seed that grows 3 tall plants, or maybe combining a boob and tall seed makes a lactation seed? Could be a great combination with a way to harvest seeds from full grown plants Anyways love the work! Looking forward to future releases!
oh forgot this one but id also love to see unique dialogues for encountering certain npcs for the first time after already maxing a stat, like maybe the nurse makes a crack about Belle not even needing a chair if her butt is already max size whenthey first meet

Bug report: If you grow two different types of plants in two pots, one overrides the other and they both become the same. It may have something to do with fertilizer and different plant stages. I had a tall plant almost done growing naturally and planted a butt seed and used some fertilizer, and the next day instead of a butt plant and a tall plant I had two tall plants.
Let me look into that, we didn't get that during testing. Do you happen to remember which pots you had?
I've never commented before but I just want to share I absolutely love this. You guys really did a wonderful job here. Can't wait for some future versions. This is definitely the correct future of The Pill. going forward. I can't wait to play more and find more stuff. Excellent job really.

This is a great game! I have . . . Suspicions about the NPCs. Like, the guard likes tall and busty, the witch likes tall and booty, but not busty, and the gay guy likes . . . Well, not Belle. I was wondering if there was an Easter egg if you hit a certain combo? Like 10 tall, 8 booty and the witch will ask for a forest herb? Or at 11 tall and 15 busty the guard will ask you to the guardhouse. Or at 8 tall, 8 bust and 8 booty the tailor will ask you to be his dress model. I do like the outfit shop idea. And what happened to the shop keeper? And can Belle help her fellow wenches? Soldier sitters? Anyone make it to the guard shack?
There isn't currently that level of easter egg in BH. We've definitely set things up for future versions to get into that level but not in this first launch.
Loved it! If I had a son, I would let him play it to teach him how important vegetables are for a healthy growth :-P And I hope the Lord and Lady are back to health?
It is very important to eat your greens, look how well it panned out for Belle.

Great game and can't wait for more to come out, I agree with a few of the other comments, the people did see what was happening to Belle but maybe there could be more interaction later on with the NPCs and maybe have the seeds be a little harder to come by as to not let the game progress too rapidly and potentially have the ability to sell the fruit or just the seeds to other NPCs in exchange for currency or "favors" and IIb760 has some good ideas for a lot of things too
Now that I have built the basics there is definitely scope to add nuance into the game. Since BH is such a different game to the others the focus was definitely on getting the basics where I was happy with them first.

Great game! Very well put together and done, I was impressed with the idle animations and your focus on the audio is a treat. I had just a couple of suggestions: 1. Given how rare these should be, I think rather than have the seeds in the shop, why not implement a rand on the plants to give you a random number of seeds and fruit? Alternatively, let her sacrifice a fruit to harvest seeds. 2. Eventually let her try to cross-pollinate the plants to unlock other varieties. 3. Fertilizer... these are magical transforming pills. Perhaps the fertilizer needs to be something harvested from people. Milk, or sexual fluids? 4. If fertilizer stays in the shop it would be nice to have a buy at quantity.

And the tf are not as subtle as you think anyone with a observing eye can tell the difference with each of Bella’s tfs I have played similar games before with other creators like Fmg life and with that knowledge I was able to get Bella to almost knockout status in the sexy department if you know you know
Finally got BH to work on the Mac I just need to do a manual override and honestly it is not that bad bella is going to build a criminal empire will grow along with my goddess status

This is Amazing! i had a bug about clicking too fast on harvesting a crop bugged it (instead of empty it was stuck with seeds), using a fertilizer on the crop fixed it tho.
Glad to hear you could fix it. Going back to before it had been harvested is also a way to fix those sorts of bugs (Lady Grove isn't very patient and clicks too fast as well at times)
how do the villagers transform?
Transformable villagers is something in consideration for future updates to the game.
So is Belle going to get bigger in the next update or are we going to switch to Trish or Luca? Also please give Belle access to the other types of expansions

Loved version 0.1! Not sure if you already have this planned or not but I like the slow burn growth but maybe adding a bigger more substantial growth animation when you hit certain milestones of growth. Can't wait for the next version!

This was fun! A nice change of pace from the pick your own adventure version.
One thing I noticed on the Android build: sometimes Bells avatar glitches a little and she ends up in a flickering black box. Seems to happen the most in the forest. I'm not sure if anything can be done, but just wanted to point it out. Really wasn't a detractor from the game, just something I noticed.
Great game. Please, if you add muscles or belly, don’t punish those of us who don’t want to take her that route.

Thoroughly enjoying the slow-burn format, the animations of the growth progressing slowly was a nice little payoff for the investment as the game goes along. The idle animations are a nice touch. I'd say it makes the characters feel more "alive". I haven't played through everything quite yet, only the BE stuff so far (That's... why I'm here. ;P ), but this is shaping up to be one of my favorites. Not that the others aren't great, cause they are! I definitely enjoyed the amount of choice and growth control this one offered though. Fantastic work, as always! Looking forward to more!

Not a bad game. I ran into a few bugs but it was rare. On the PC version, when i had two pots, but it did happen once with three pots, the selected seed wouldn't grow even though it was watered. I bought and used some fertilizer and that seemed to fix it. Also as mentioned before some black boxes around characters when they appeared and some frame rate drops on their movement for a few seconds. I liked the growth animations the bit by bit increments were nice. I was disappointed with the height growth, I'm not really into feet, and she never had any changes to her clothes like with the other two changes, like a costume change. Overall a nice game. I look forward to 0.2

I have already completed this version and I really like it and I am also looking forward to the next updates. By the way, I have an idea: What about village quests? For example, grow and bring certain fruits to someone in the village and receive some kind of reward for it.

Spoilers*** Android 0.1 So I've only gone through 10 days of gameplay. So far noticed two graphical bugs. 1. Character will often have a black character box around them when making decisions or changing scene/location. 2. Sometimes the text in the "you've earned x money" is cutoff on the start and end. Seems the box is a set size but longer text is an issue. 2a. Possible solution is implement text wrapping so it uses multiple lines if at a certain character length.
Spoilers*** Edit, 'bug2' for now this seems to be only an issue with the infirmary job due to longer text. Word wrapping may still be good solution depending on future expansions and updates.
also v 6.0 works fine by the way
this is definitely an interesting new developing for the pill game i was more expecting to get the ch 4 remaster since i do like Luka (i think she is a underrated best girl in the big three in this game Tris being the least favorite of the big three ( i am not the type of guy who likes to be forced to grovel every 5 mins aka she is too much like my mom). Unfortunately i can't play the game because my mac thinks this New game is coming from a unfriendly source even though i have recently booted up v 6.0 (yes i have installed every version up to this point though i think ch 3 was my least favorite of all the chapters chapter 2 being second best being that it is one first chapters to have fmg in it only being dwarfed my ch4
We did work on the remaster of Luca's chapter this month, but in the end it was just a bit too ambitious a project for this month alone.
