This is so interesting
I just joined pateron. I love your videos. Hopefully the next clutch is better with no slugs
hi
I feel so sad for that snake
Thanks for making it free, I'm a teenager so I cant pay for the subscriptions or anything 😅
It’s too late now but were you able to look on the inside of the egg to see if there were any cuts/nicks to indicate Ed was right and baby was trying to go through the mold to get out?
I love when I can watch this because it tells me what I need to know about the snake that did not make it but still you lean new thing evey day love you Ed and Emily and when I send fan mail no click pins for Ed but a lot of coffee for emily.🐊🐢🦎🐍
It looks like the head was facing the hard moldy section
At least he's cute. Hey Emily and Ed, throw it out the window to make it decompose for new plants
I bet it was a dummy egg
At least the other babies hatched R.I.P. Lil bro
Hi
I am coming to your show October 2nd
I finally got patreon !!!!!!!!!!!!😆😝
Fascinating and very educational. Thank you for sharing and yes, RIP little one!
Who came from the YouTube video
Hi! I was the one who gave you the braclets when I met you! I am going back to visit end of july!
Interesting I thought it would have a kink or something bad
Thank you it is a very good lesson to learn but sometimes the process is sad and unfortunate
Hi I am Emily Simon Broad. I am big big fan of your channel your videos on YouTube. I am 15 years old
I got a question that has nothing to do with the video but since the shop says no shopping to Austria is it the same with the higher Patreon support states?
Hi Emily I’m getting my first snake in spring it’s going to be a lavender hognose snake do you have any tips
That is so sad he looked perfectly developed and kink free
Omg that sad that he or she made it thru but could not hatch rip
I mean, it seems like the takeaway is that if you do have another moldy deformed egg incubate all the way thru, you should cut it in the deformed area when you see the first pipping of another egg. It’ll give the snake inside a chance, without forcing the issue?
Good point
It's very sad it happend but important to see how and what to learn what to do better❤️
thanks so much for sharing this for free, emily and ed! it's so kind of you, i was eagerly awaiting this one. so happy that the cadaver will be useful! nothing is ever wasted in nature and i love that you guys do the same. 😁
As you were pulling him out I did notice that the head was coming from that deformed area so I'm think maybe its head was stuck in that weird spot so it didn't have a choice as to where to pip.
I agree with you
Thank u for making this post free! Its definitely an interesting and informative video. He probably just drowned in the egg or didn’t have a strong enough egg tooth. Can i also suggest the new blue beauty in the zoo be named Rosaline? In the play she’s Romeo’s first love, ik it is different in Shakespeare’s version. It will fit with the Romeo and Juliet theme of the others!!!
Thankyou for putting this up for us I do find these sorts of things really interesting espcially when it is "FOR SCIENCE" and making it free to watch I do really appriciate it sorry I cant afford a monthly sub wish I could but much love from Australia
it so sadthatt he died but i wonder what would have happend if he would have survived
i love your youtube channel and i love all reptiles
Poor guy...🥺
Does he have an egg tooth?
That was sad. He looked ready to hatch.
Thanks for making this free! I love watching this part of videos as it’s so informative and interesting and I got scared when you said you’d put it on patreon😅
Same
Interesting that it survived through the moldy egg for as long as it did. Rip little buddy
I think he may how drowned in the egg, he seems like a healthy baby, just a little small, he could of also had under developed organs on the inside.
Hi!
