The Wright Brother's debate WILL go up today at noon Central time, or 12Z time.
The debate will go up today no matter what at 12 noon central time. It's really long, about two hours. Magnar and I will be there in chat to answer questions and we may be on live after the debate as well.

Jose, I suppose I could have been a little nicer. I didn't really know what to expect from Magnar and I was primed for a much different type of debate. It did turn out to be more of a discussion as Magnar conceded the key points very early on. I did concede some myself including the influence of Chanute on aircraft structure.
Not even the bambino, could hit a 1000
Greg, the guy admitted the Wrights invented the air foil, propeller efficiency and control surfaces. A little more gentility could have been in order.
I have a time conflict, so I probably will not be on the livestream. I have a question a friend raised, though, that someone may be able to post: Some people say the Wright Brother's first flight wasn't long enough to qualify as the first powered flight. They didn't actually achieve that until they used their new wing design two years later. Agree or disagree? Also, did anyone achieve a longer powered flight before the new wing design was flown? Does it matter?
Wouldn't 12:00 Central be 18:00 Zulu? Or am I misinterpreting the time?
I agree. I live in Atlanta and had numerous conference calls with people in the UK. There was a 6 to 7 hour difference (depending on EDT vs EST). But I may be misunderstanding what Greg means.
Excited to hear it
