I personally don't think you guys will like it just based on the character design. I would say that the comedy is of the lewd type as well. I guess what I am trying to say is it is a hit or miss if you can get past the design.

gushing over magical girls is a very funny watch so far. i started reading the manga like a month before the anime was announced and was shocked when the news dropped bc it's SUCH a wild series, i really never thought it'd get adapted. but somehow they managed to make it even more unhinged in the anime lmao anyway, i really think you guys will have fun with this one if you decide to watch it

I'll probably skip this one but I did watch the 1st episode of Chained Soldier when I found out it'd be on the schedule and I really enjoyed it.

I’ll be honest, it’s terrible. There is no plot, it’s not funny and the characters are ass, peopel are gassing it because there are naked 15 year old girls in it and nothing else

Based on the first ep, it seems like a good choice for a 2 person, degen reaction. Admittedly, I am not familiar with the source material and the production company doesn't have a history of bangers so I can't say what this will look like a month or two from now. I think John said is fair. See if it holds up for a week or two and nothing else pops off in fandom and see if it makes sense.

Lee, I would not recommend this at this time even though I know the story is going to get more degen by the episodes. Reason being some studios tends to put all their best efforts into ep 1 of a new series to make it look good, then the rest of the episodes sucks. (Looking at you My Isekai Life, and Cheat Skill In Another World) So I would give it another 2-3 episodes before I say to react or not to react.

This show is peak fiction. It makes chained soldier look absolutly tame. The manga is quite possibly one of the most degenerate things ever made and the anime has made it even Horner than the manga was
