Solo Reaction Suggestions "ANIME OR SHORT LIVE ACTION" NO ASIAN DRAMAS!!!
Solo Reaction Suggestions "ANIME OR SHORT LIVE ACTION" NO ASIAN DRAMAS!!!
We're opening suggestions for a show I'll react to SOLO. Just me on this one.
Anime or a short live action series only. NO Asian dramas... K, C or J... I do enough of those with the group lol.
What am I looking for... a good show lol. Shorter episode count > madd episodes. An actually captivating plot, not senseless slapstick. I get anxiety on the slow ones, so something that stays solid beats hit or miss episodes.
If a popular series wins then I'm able to post it on YouTube… If an underrated show wins it's definitely a Patreon exclusive scenario.
How to Submit Your Suggestion:
Format: React to "XYZ," "ABC."
Example: React to "Mr. Queen," "Judge from Hell."
Make sure to include the word React and put the show title in quotes so ChatGPT can process it correctly. Last time, sorting through suggestions was a hassle, and I had to hire someone to clean it up.
I will take the shows with the highest mentions and create 25 show poll.
Top Suggestions: These will be on the poll

The Pitch DMC: Pure, unhinged comedy. It’s about a sweet indie-pop boy who accidentally becomes a foul-mouthed death metal god; your reactions to his double life will be absolute gold. Galko-chan: This is an incredibly blunt, hilarious, and wholesome look at high school girls. It’s ultra-short-form but packs enough unfiltered banter to keep you laughing the whole time. Akebi: This is a masterpiece in slice-of-life animation that will genuinely clear your mind. The character interactions are incredibly wholesome and beautifully detailed—it’s pure good vibes for the schedule. After the Rain: A beautifully mature and melancholy look at grief, moving past lost dreams, and finding direction again. The art style is stunning, and the emotional restraint in the character writing is top-tier. Interviews With Monster Girls: Think Slice of Life meets X-Men, but way more wholesome. It’s a super charming comedy about a biology teacher helping demi-human girls navigate high school, and the character writing is shockingly clever. Gosick: A gorgeous gothic mystery romance set in a fictional 1920s Europe. The dynamic between the brilliant, eccentric girl locked in a tower and her protector evolves beautifully as they get caught up in massive political conspiracies. Skip Beat!: The classic shoujo, revenge-driven showbiz story. The female lead gets betrayed by her celebrity childhood friend and vows to join the entertainment industry purely to destroy his career—her inner demons and chaotic energy are legendary. Princess Tutu: Forget what you think you know based on the title; this is a brilliant, dark psychological deconstruction of fairy tales, tragedy, and fate. It plays out like a twisted puzzle that completely flips your expectations upside down. Welcome to the Ballroom: The hype and hyper-intense visual style of Haikyuu!! but applied to the cutthroat world of competitive ballroom dancing. The characters' passion, sweat, and distorted physical animation during dances are unmatched. Ladies versus Butlers!: Pure, classic early-2010s degen chaos unmatched even by High School DxD. The school rivalry, butler training, and nonstop fanservice are exactly what we come here for. With You, Our Love Will Make It Through: A surprisingly grounded fantasy rom-com that tackles societal discrimination and interracial relationships. It perfectly captures the messy, impulsive energy of a horny teenage crush dealing with massive cultural barriers. Watanare: This brings the exact same high-energy, chaotic fun as 100 Girlfriends but with a pure yuri twist. You will love reacting to Renako, a peak "girlfailure" trying to survive a wild romance she isn't remotely equipped for. The Familiar of Zero: A foundational classic of the modern isekai/fantasy rom-com genre. Louise is the ultimate explosive tsundere, and watching Saito survive her magic mishaps and her world's chaos over multiple seasons is pure entertainment. The World God Only Knows: A legendary premise where an elite dating-sim gamer is forced by a demon to capture real girls' hearts to fill the holes in their souls. It perfectly balances clever anime tropes, hilarious strategies, and genuine emotional payoffs. Symphogear: Pure, unadulterated hype where girls literally sing battle anthems to power up their mech-armor suits and punch mountains into dust. It is an anime-original series with gloriously over-the-top action that escalates higher and higher every single episode. Rage of Bahamut: A massive, high-budget cinematic fantasy adventure that feels like Pirates of the Caribbean meets classic high-fantasy anime. The action set pieces are gorgeous, and the main rogue duo has incredible bickering chemistry. Full Metal Panic!: The perfect mix of a gritty, military mecha thriller and chaotic high school comedy. Watching a socially inept, battle-hardened teenage soldier try to inconspicuously blend into a normal school as a bodyguard is comedy gold. Darker than Black: A classic urban sci-fi thriller about cold-blooded mercenaries executing missions in a dystopian Tokyo. The fight choreography is slick, the story uses a tight two-episode arc format, and the unique power system forces users to pay a bizarre psychological cost every time they use their abilities.

React to “The Way Home” I’m not sure what else to recommend rn but this is a great show to watch at some point!! Recently added to Netflix
I’m gonna shill it again but react to “The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace” It’s 11 episodes, it’s made by the creator of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid and Interspecies Reviewers, but it has a serious plot. and it’s animated by studio MAPPA. It’s sooo good Lee. Plot goes crazy almost immediately, it’s a military / psychological thriller / mystery / action seinen It has a lot to say about war and human cycles of violence and all the characters are really interesting. You prolly won’t regret it. It’s on Crunchyroll.
