IT WON! Anime Poll Clevatess Season 2 — still the theme, or we switch the party

It’s on the Schedule and will start posting next week , I’m not sure about folks on YouTube. I have not allocated a budget for it.

We already covered Clevatess Season 1. Season 2 just finished. Season 1 didn’t really catch fire online, so we didn’t auto-hop into S2.

Looking at the new anime season, I’m not seeing a ton of “everybody’s talking about this” shows I’m locked on either — so I’m thinking about picking up Clevatess Season 2 instead of grabbing a random new title just because it’s new. But this channel is a group hang. If y’all want to watch it, we watch it.

If you’re not interested, we don’t force it. I know some people feel like if you started something, you’re supposed to finish it or it was a waste. I’ve seen that energy on Ben 10 too.

My take is simpler: Think of me as the host. My job is to entertain as many people as possible and keep as many people happy as possible. If I’m planning a costume party and only two people are gonna show up in costume… am I still throwing a full costume party? Probably not.

I might switch the theme so more of the room actually wants to come through the door. And “but we’ve been doing this for years” isn’t enough reason to keep doing it the same way.

That’s literally how Blockbuster and Kodak got left behind — the world moved, the audience changed what they preferred, and “we’ve always done it this way” didn’t save them.

Adapting isn’t quitting. It’s paying attention. Same energy here. Just because we started with one activity doesn’t mean we keep running that activity if the room isn’t showing up for it. If it were only up to me, I’ve got a TV downstairs and I’ll always finish whatever I’m personally missing. Me and my wife already watch anime on our own time when it’s for us and not for the group. But for the channel, I’m trying to plan fun stuff people actually want to participate in.

So I’m asking, for real:

• Keep / pick up Clevatess Season 2

• Skip Clevatess Season 2 — let’s switch the theme • I don’t care, we watch whatever you post No wrong answer. I just want to know if the room’s still down before we set the next hang.

Sidenote, I am not guided by emotional decisions. That’s why I’m haunted by the fact that I do not cry very often in a reaction or that my reaction is very inappropriate to the emotional scene.

My reactions to emotional scenes are a learnt attribute. I generally just shut the F up when sad stuff happening. . Lol.
