There seems to be some confusion about how the Legendary Sannin Tier works — and honestly, that’s understandable because this system has evolved over time. So let me break it down clearly.

For a long while, people in the Patreon Discord gave honest feedback that they wanted more variety in the reaction options. Their main point was:

“Rock, you usually pick shows that will do well on YouTube.”

And they weren’t wrong — I did prioritize shows that bring views, because that’s what attracts new Patrons and keeps the whole ecosystem growing.

Then the community surprised me.
They said they’d rather pay a bit extra if it meant I would cover shows that were unpopular, low-engagement, niche, or simply things I would never pick on my own.

And just so you know —
I wasn’t instantly sold on this idea either.
I actually pushed back at first, because I had the same questions and concerns many of you might have now. I argued the same points you’re probably thinking.

But when I saw the community was united on it, I respected the will of the people and we built this system together.

Here’s the key point that people sometimes miss:

⭐ Exclusive Tier shows never go on YouTube.

That means:

• They don’t grow the channel

• They don’t bring new Patrons

• They don’t help the overall momentum

So when I record an exclusive-tier show, I’m shifting my focus away from YouTube-growth content and putting Patreon on the front end instead of the back end.

Both things matter — YouTube brings people in, and Patreon keeps the family fed.
And every single Patron here found me through YouTube first. So there has to be a balance.

That’s why shows I wouldn’t naturally pick, or shows that don’t help the channel grow, are placed in a higher tier. It compensates for the lost momentum on the YouTube side and keeps everything sustainable.

This is exactly how shows like The 7th Prince and Assassination Classroom ended up in the poll.
Not because they’re “bad,” but because they’re not shows I would normally choose based on personal taste or YouTube strategy.

Now…
How Not to Summon a Demon Lord is a special case.

I avoided it because the internet kept calling it mid.
Turns out… they were wrong.
The show was fun enough that we went straight into Season 2 without even polling it.

So yes, it’s in the exclusive tier — not because it’s low quality, but because it fits the category of titles I wouldn’t naturally pick unless the community specifically requests it.

And I want to say this clearly:

I never know if I’ll like something until I actually watch it.
This time, I ended up pleasantly surprised.

If this setup isn’t your personal preference, that’s completely fine — everyone values different things. But this structure wasn’t made in isolation; it grew out of years of feedback and discussion in the Discord.

And remember:
If you’re not into the exclusive-tier shows, that’s perfectly okay. These are titles that wouldn’t have been recorded naturally anyway, so you’re not missing out on something that was guaranteed for the main channels.
