Claudia didn't talk much this episode because she was angry at Louis for not burning Lestat. Hence fewer emotional explosions as well (except the "I've known exactly 4 vampires... "). On a practical level, it probably helped Delainey (new actress) settle in because she was cast last minute.
Precisely. Also, Claudia a a character stopped being the brat we initially knew her to be. In the last episodes of Season 1, and after all those years she lived by herself, she became quite mature, cultured and stopped “throwing tantrums”. I think Delaney is doing a fantastic job and the switch doesn’t feel unpleasant at all. I look forward to see more of her.
I still wonder about Daciana. How old was she, how many wars she survived before WWII ruined everything. Maybe things were bad for her before the war and it was just the last straw.
