Evil Kids? Takaopis Original Sin EXPOSED The DARK Side of Childhood

I mentioned this on youtube but evil is dependent on the society your living in. What If a child is raised from birth to think killing is a good thing and they are praised for it and beaten if they step out of line? is the child evil? Definitions are not useful in this situation. Like... I guess by definition the child did something amoral and is technically "evil" but only in the black and white definition. There's allot of nuance in calling anyone evil tbh and MUCH more when that person is still a child with a developing brain. I think they could not necessarily be "evil" and still need to be arrested and or killed if they went on a crazy killing spree or something.
The definition by the way is profoundly immoral or profoundly wicked in Oxford dictionary. Key word "profoundly" the definitions ITSELF is up for interpretation. I could think stealing cause your hungry makes you profoundly evil in my eyes and deserving of the death penalty but are they really evil?
This was a goated debate
Thank you
Evil is evil, but I don't want to brand her as evil easily. even though on the definition of evil she is evil.
I’m fine with that Sometimes that’s the honest answer I only have an issue with people who wanna argue like the word can’t be found in a dictionary but of course I can understand not wanting a brand a child and evil
I feel like there is a weird disconnect especially when it comes to fiction cuz there will be a villain with a terrible backstory but you dont see anyone (most people lol) not calling these people evil? Maybe people feel like its more of an attack but like you said I think of it as more of an objective statement like "oh yeah this character is evil now look at what they are doing" people just dont want to hear that specifically for the fact they're a kid. My last take is that if we saw an adult shizuka how she acts now and saw her flashback as a kid later people would be way more likely to just call her evil lol
You 100% nailed it People feel it’s an attack Not to be honest with you I feel like calling these people evil is too simple to describe their behavior I understand they are kids and I understand the situation is complicated I personally made an issue of it because we were talking casually And people took a holier than that approach saying we don’t understand the story because we referred to one of the girls or both of the girls as evil and kids cant be evil It’s not even that deep originally. I would’ve used a different word if my vocabulary was big enough lol. If you don’t believe the kids are evil due to their actions not being immoral enough or whatever I was fine with that But for people who feel like we use the definition wrong those are the people I really took issue with in this video
i think "evil" is a very loaded word and it implies a person is beyond saving in any way. Kids that do evil acts in this show are all stuck at the bottom of a pit with no agency and hope. That is why they cannot be truly evil unless show shows us their lives getting completely fixed in last episode and they keep doing evil things. So basically they are kinda temporarily evil.
I understand how you think of evil But what is the definition of evil ? That’s my main point People are talking about what they think evil means when they have the Internet and a dictionary. That’s why people can’t agree because we’re not even pulling out the same rulebook
Yeeeeah was waiting for this
