Exit Poll/Goblin/User feedback
1st – If you’re supposed to have access to Singles Inferno or 19-20 reactions and don’t see them, message me. Odds are, you missed a step in the instructions—and I can help.
2nd – This is good feedback and I wanted to respond, 'cause it applies to multiple shows.
Let’s be honest—I don’t know if I’m gonna like a show until I actually watch or react to it. If I seem uninterested early on, it’s ‘cause I’m waiting for it to peak my interest. I usually say when that moment hits.
Example: In Weightlifting Fairy, around episode 4 or 5, I said “THIS is the episode that got me!” and I was locked in after that.
We’ve also evolved along the way.
On the Kdrama schedule, I rank the dramas we finish and explain why I liked or didn’t like each one. Goblin is literally at the bottom—and that’s after finishing it. So you can see how I truly felt once the whole thing played out.
And trust—I've been WRONG before. I thought Lovely Runner looked mid before watching it. Now it’s in my top 10. That’s why I never write off a show too early anymore.
That said—I have no regrets reacting to Goblin. Yeah, it had a lot of staring and crying (which doesn’t really move me), but it was also a cinematic masterpiece with unforgettable moments.
Truth is, when I watched it, I wasn’t emotionally mature enough to connect with the male lead’s pain. SPEAKING FOR MYSELF—I wasn’t (and still ain't fully) in tune with my sensitive side. It’s like a muscle I never used that’s now getting worked.
Or maybe I’m just built different... 'cause I cried like 2-3 times for the villains in Penthouse, lmao. Different things make me sad.
And sometimes you just gotta keep watching. Shows like Mouse literally became top tier in the final moments.
That’s the thing—recording 6–8 episodes in, sometimes that’s the minimum it takes to really understand where a show is going. And as a reaction channel, unless the show is actually terrible, you keep going. Why?
Because people are watching with us. They’ve spent money or time—the most valuable thing they got—to take this ride with us. Even if it’s not our favorite, we owe them our insight, our experience, our reaction.
Think about it like this: how many times have you made someone watch a show you love—knowing it’s not their thing—just so you could share a special moment with them? And when they finally react to your favorite scene? That hit of shared joy? That’s what we’re going for.
I think that sums it up.
Now—about my snappy attitude… yeah, that’s true. I’ve been temperamental on the channel. But here’s the thing:
In the last 2 years, I quit drinking, started exercising mind and body, and I read books to better myself. I’m literally reading The Daily Stoic right now.
I’m not the same person I was—and I reflect often, like “Why was I like that?” I know the answer, but the excuses don’t matter. What matters is growth—and I’ve grown. Still growing.
I used to reply to comments in a bad headspace. That was a me problem, not a you problem. If you’ve been here for a while, you’ve seen the shift. It started as forced growth... now it’s natural.
So please—drop feedback whenever. Don’t wait for the exit polls. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, a misunderstanding, or a convo worth having.
2025 Lee is still pushing toward a better version of himself.
And I share my readings and reflections here too:

Anime fans:
You already KNOW the rule—
“Give it 3 to 6 episodes.”
Same logic applies here. Sometimes you don’t see the vision 'til you're halfway in.

Also I am here mostly here to watch you react to the titles that aren’t super popular. I like the underdog anime. Which is what made me come back.
Yeah I felt at times that I pissed you off or something. And felt attacked. I tried to brush it off with acting over the top goofy. Maybe I got too sensitive and I debated quitting your Patreon altogether. And did for a small bit. It was hard to enjoy your content. Your comments felt like you were annoyed by me or defensive. Again I might have been too sensitive. But to read that you are even questioning your attitude makes me feel less on guard again. It’s hard to know even through typed conversations without inflection from voice and facial language so things are often misunderstood. But reading that made me feel better. So thx for sharing and being vulnerable.
Edit: I'm typing this comment for the second time because writing from a cellphone sucks lol. I’ve been a big anime and K-drama fan for years, and I’ve been watching you guys just as long—you’re easily my favorite YouTube trio. I really loved Goblin, especially the casting and cinematography. That said, I never felt any negativity or bad vibes from you during the reactions. And honestly, even if I did, it wouldn’t matter. What makes your channel great is how real you are. What bugs me is when people are mean or over-the-top for no reason. Watching your videos feels like watching shows with friends—it’s fun, chill, and genuine. You shouldn’t have to explain yourself. Liking or not liking something is just part of the experience, and if people can’t handle that, that’s on them.
"In the last 2 years, I quit drinking, started exercising mind and body, and I read books to better myself. I’m literally reading The Daily Stoic right now. I’m not the same person I was—and I reflect often, like “Why was I like that?” I know the answer, but the excuses don’t matter. What matters is growth—and I’ve grown. Still growing." This just this. This is why I am still here. Enough said.😎
(...what I do understand regarding Goblin, is a lot of people had it as their gateway KDrama, or the KDrama that got them addicted to KDramas. So a lot of people take it TOO personally if someone doesn't love it because they have a special connection to the show. Personally, I share your criticisms. It's not the perfect show and 50% of it drags. What saves it is Grim Reaper and Sunny).
Personally, I like hearing differing opinions as it is so cool seeing different perspectives. Keep doing what you're doing, that's why we're all here
This is why i keep supporting you. I really enjoy your openness and your willingness to grow. Keep up the good work.
Thanks King. 👑
I haven't watched this show but I always appreciate you for being candid and not bullshitting anyone. I might watch it later and disagree, but I'd rather disagree with someone who stands on business than agree with someone who is floundering. No hate towards the commentor either, it sparks valuable discussion
Yeah no hate either
In Ju Dan Tae we trust! The true hero! 🫡
i don’t mind you guys aren’t feeling a show, i prefer when reactions aren’t fake and it helps when recommending other shows
At least lee is patient enough to watch through many episodes. If a show doesn't catch me in the first 1 or 2 episodes, I usually drop it immediately. I remember dropping steins gate and higurashi coz it took so long to pick up but after forcing myself to pick it back up and watch the whole thing they are in my top anime now.
Lol. Thats moonlit fantasy. For me to LOVE it lol. A whole new season lol
Very well put. I have always been one that watches the show being covered first and then double back for the reactions, and there have been many times where I watched it, thought it sucked, but enjoyed the reaction. What brought me to this channel was the sincerity, as if you watch something that you don't like or understand, you say that. Of course with the bigger shows you got to tiptoe around your dislike or disinterest, but when compared to other reaction channels that simply watch the show, make crazy face, say they like it, and end video, I always appreciated the commentary and actual discussions being held. When 86 was going under the radar for most people and very little reaction channels were covering it, you guys covered it and expressed genuine interest in the story it had to tell. That's the important part: showing a genuine want to engage with the content. Almost every time I have tried to watch anything with my mom she jokes throughout it and doesn't take it seriously, just to say afterwards she didn't like it. This is perhaps the only place I can find a genuine desire to engage with many types of content, and for that I appreciate you guys covering shows that do not immediately interest you.
You summed up my purpose. Which is yes to engage in the video and show an effort to understand the material and share something other than “good episode”. I feel like I can be compared to a professional hug buddy lmaoooo.
Just wanna say I appreciate that you interact with the community so much on here. I don't really participate much as I'm not that social, but the interaction with the community I see is pretty unique. I get why some people would get turned off or whatever but for me personally, it's cool to see someone's genuine feelings instead of feeling like they're talking through a PR filter because they don't want to offend people and get backlash. Could just be a Caribbean/West Indian though since I'm Trini, so just feels like how my family acts, lol.
Yes that Caribbean side I remember people who came to my wedding that my mom was yelling at them. Lmaoooo. Different cultures On the international stage it doesn’t really help me much So i gotta use PR and such lol
I want to see the Sarcastic Lee emerge 2026
Nope
Yeah personally I do sometimes feel my gut sink when I found out that a reactor that I like, is reacting to something that I like, but they dont really like it that much. Though there is a difference I feel between the people who force themselves to try to be hype about something they dont care about (which turns me off to their content), and someone who isnt overselling thier interest but just trying to focus on the positives. So as long as you do the latter with shows you aren't fully vibing with, which I feel you do try to do, I dont find it frustrating.
I would rather see a genuine reaction than a pretend or crowd pleasing one. Everyone has their own opinion and thoughts about shows--that is what is fun about seeing what other people think. Sometimes others make points that I hadn't thought of or considered. My own feelings or enjoyment about shows are often influenced by own experiences, what is going on in my life at the time or just my own stress levels. The biggest turn off to me for reactions is someone who doesn't seem genuinely interested in the story--that doesn't mean they have to like it but if they are only pretending to really watch but never know what is going on or miss just about all the story points.
my biggest turn off is someone faking enthusiasm for something they dont enjoy. I can respect people trying to enjoy things on their own terms, sometimes it works out sometimes doesnt. as long as it is portrayed honestly i am all for it even if you gave a chance to my fav show and ended up disliking it. Funny thing is, some people themselves dont get into their favorite shows right away sometimes. But once they finished and fell in love they expect that level of excitement and knowledge from people who just started a show.
Yes especially that last paragraph you said
I have some very deep and moving feedback about the Chanel that I’m about to pour my soul into. I yearn for the moonlit fantasy episodes 😔
That was interesting feedback you received as i actually enjoyed your reaction. Everyone has their own perspective though.
Yup. Of course. People had a good time some people focus on the highlights (good moments). Others see the negative Some people see both
