I Challenge You To Make A Change This Month
Comments (25)
Hopefully i can be consistent with my workout this month
Ill join you Lee. Been having scary kidney pain recently despite being early 20s. I remember you shared your kidney stone story in a reaction once and how horrible the process of removing them was and I realized I don't wanna go down that path myself so I'll be joining in August drinking a gallon of water a day. Also, the group cardio thing is 100% true. Humans are adapted for highly social, group physical activity (link to study): https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s42978-020-00091-0. You in this video and everyone here are that motivating group for me.
My change is leaving my toxic job and starting working towards a career I'm 23 and I don't want to be working a 9 to 5 job by I'm 25 I want to start a family soon.
Blessings on that endeavor
Great message! I wish good luck to anyone who comes across this.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I'm going to do something as well(starting before august) and will come update on this post along the way with more deets. Thanks for the encouragement Lee. Whatever our health and wellness goals are, we can do this everybody!
Sounds good Jazz
Lee, you, uh, rock! I really appreciate you doing this video.
You’re welcome
I'm already on it Chef. Massive respect for motivating the community #Rock AE Dynasty
🔥🔥🔥
Hmmm... You know what.. let me get started on what I am thinking and see you in Sep.
Hahah
My change is gonna have to be actually doing cardio lol, especially zone 2. Started lifting weights beginning of the year and absolutely love it as it's a phenomenal stress relief for me & its made joint pain nearly non existent - i become like a crackhead if I go too long without a lifting session now. I'm taking up rollerblading for cardio as it's got a skill learning component which will finally keep me engaged and it'll provide benefits for balance + full body coordination too. Really enjoying it so far
Is that something you can turn into habit after 30 days?
Great keyword: sustainability, it has to sustainable. A lot of people overeat because they mistake thirst signal with hunger signal so this is a good foundational habit to have in place. For those who want to gamify the drinking enough water, you can look into the Hidrate Spark 32 oz steel bottle. Obviously you don't have to spend that much money, but it deepens the commitment for some and it kinda turns the challenge into a game with the app/tracker/sensor

Uninstalling grindr and swearing off bussy for the month. Gotta store this T
Let's gooo! Imma be Jinwoo by the end of this. Got my new waterbottle and I'm downing it regularly with ginger and lemon juice. I think I need to find a local rec center I can use to do cardio. I use to play basketball and baseball after school, but that ended after I graduated. Walking/Jogging got lame and it made me inconsistent.

I don't accept, I wanna be lazy and eat hot chip and lie
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Challenge accepted. I have the army ten miler coming up in October so I’m with you for making changes. Thanks for the extra motivation
No problem
