Queen of Tears is the hottest kdrama out right now not just in Korea but internationally as well, and for good reasons. The show has been consistently good from the 1st ep up to the recent one (6th ep). It stars two of the best actors from the kdramaland kim soo-hyun (gang tae from it's okay to not be okay) and kim ji-won (i am positive yall haven't done any shows that she's in but i promise she's amazing 🤞). Their chemistry in the show is top-tier, the writing is great, the acting is A1, the cinematography is fantastic, but with all of that aside, the show's biggest draw for me personally is how flawed most of the characters are. And with that, the show will challenge you to microanalyse these characters and understand them on a more nuanced level. Having these kinds of characters, i feel like, would elicit a really good reactions and back and forths from u guys so i hope u heavily consider this show. It is worth it istg.

The Fiery Priest is so great!! It's from the creators of Vincenzo so it's full of action and comedy! Every characters matters and they join to fight the corruption of a small town. Instead of a mafioso in Vincenzo, we have a priest who is hella funny, and has anger issues too ahaha! Great recommendation!

I realize that comments with more feedback than just title and episode count stand out more, so just wanted to add my quick thoughts on two shows not yet on the short list: While You Were Sleeping and Castaway Diva. While You Were Sleeping - honestly one of my all time favorites that took me completely by surprise. Has a great premise and engaging storyline from beginning to end. The pilot could be a movie itself. Memorable characters, cast, soundtrack. Castaway Diva - very powerful story with strong female lead (Extraordinary Attorney Woo herself) and meaningful family drama. For anyone who loves music & stories about survival / trauma healing Both of these tend to make me immediately join & support the channels who cover it. Did that last month 😆

I think one of the most CLASSIC k drama' you have to have watched atleast once, is Hwarang. It is amazing, has a amazing cast of all the korean actors that are big now that were not as big then, I mean: seo-jun, hyung-sik, seo yea-ji, yoo jae-myung, MINHO :0 But its 20 eps :(
I think out of the shows you listed, Hotel del Luna and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim are my picks, but it's definitely a process of elimination. Those are the only two I've seen. WWWSK has my boo Park Min-Young being pretty as ever and doing the romcom thing. There is a little drama in it. It's a nice, light watch. Hotel is great. Gothic vibe. Def has the strong/bossy/well dressed female lead. Paranormal vibes. Hard to place it in a genre. QoT is on my list but I am greedy and prefer the ability to binge all eps at once, so I am waiting until it's done. Happiness is actually on my list because I've heard it's good, but it's fighting my overwhelming disdain for zombie lore. Sorry. I'll def get to it though, but zombies are one of my least favorite horror genres.

I would recommend Reply 1988 and Snowdrop as options. They are both 16 episodes, but I think you guys will like them.
I also don't think anyone has mentioned Psychopath Diary, this has 16 episodes, and it is comedy and thriller.
I would honestly recommend Hotel del luna, think it's not talked about enough, it has an amazing storyline. It's also funny, emotional and just has a lot great elements and feelings put into it.

I would recommend Mask Girl, It's a short Drama (7 episodes) and it does a fantastic job storytelling. It's definitely an amazing drama and a fun watch.
YES! It has a lot of sex and violence but it's done tastefully, and it serves the story.

Queen of tears is currently airing only 5 or 6 eps out right now! I think so far its really good and lowkey stressful. I was nervous but my boy Kim Soohyun never dissapoints.

What's wrong with secretary Kim will be my option cause it has a good story and some good comedy. None of the episodes were boring. And happiness is also a great story it also has everything in the story. So I would be happy if your next show is either one. ( I haven't watched the other shows in the list so I don't know about it)

To answer your question. I do some research on suggestions i see and i act accordingly. Folks who talk and explain themselves get a bit more priority. Notice i came to answer your question. Somebody suggested it’s ok not be okay, flower of evil, and extra curricular. Lol. All shows we have seen. This tells me people are often suggesting things but taking consideration to our watch patterns and what we like. So i not mindlessly take feedback. I listen and think. (That being said the person must have good taste for us. So I understand the other view).
Signal (2017) is also a classic! Every single episode is just perfectly written with impeccable flow it deserves the popularity it got when it was airing & I'd say, like Goblin, it's one of those dramas that still gets referenced till this day.

Beyond Evil is a classic! personally it's my kdrama ver of Parasite in terms of the thrill i get when watching it - theres still a very dedicated fanbase of Beyond Evil to this day. Hotel Del Luna is a must watch too! the visuals and the story is just top tier - personally one of the best fantasy kdramas of all time.

Amazing acting and great storyline in this medical series) - VIGILANTE [8 eps] (strong storyline with lots of physical action scenes you guys would like) - FIERY PRIEST [20 eps] (this is an action comedy that you guys would definitely like, similar to movie extreme job, but it's a Catholic priest went berserk for justice 😂) - HOSPITAL PLAYLIST [2 seasons of 12 eps] (the hilarious humanism stories of surgeons and hospital staffs) - PRISON PLAYBOOK [16 eps] (the same creator of Hospital Playlist and Reply series. Fan favorite dramedy of inmates 😁) - TAXI DRIVER [2 seasons of 16 eps] (vigilantism for justice by the taxi driver n crew) - THE GOOD DETECTIVE [2 seasons of 12 eps] (each season dwell with one big case, but truly this drama would ignite your anger, emotion and laugh together. Season 1 is a tear jerker for me 😊) - TALE OF THE NINE TAILED and its sequel TALE OF THE NINE TAILED 1938 [12 eps each] (fantasy stories about mythical creatures in Korean folklore) Anyway, can't wait for new reaction from you guys🥰 Thanks❤

kinda underrated but gaus electronics is funny af. it's pretty short with only a few episodes. I don't see a lot of reactors covering it and it's not really that popular but (imo) it's one of the funniest kdrama from 2022.

There are multiple series you can go for. For fantasy: my demon, perfect marriage revenge. For office romance: her private life, what's wrong with secretary Kim, sh**ting stars. For slice of life: Welcome to samdal-ri, our beloved summer. For sports with romance: Weight lifting fairy Kim bok-joo, Fight for my way. All the series I have mentioned are great, but it's all kinda from Romance Genre. Hope you can select anything from this one.

"Mr Queen" Although this is a 20 episode drama, it's comedic aspects,...read shenanigans makes it a semi-light watch, with ofcourse those kdrama tag at your heart strings moments!
Coffee Prince (17 eps I think) - updated w/opinion. It's an oldie, but I have to say I find this time period in dramas to be a bit more raw and less polished (which I love) than newer dramas and for it's time, it handled certain elements realistically. Lots of funny moments so it's hard to place it in a genre. Gong Yoo from Goblin is the lead and definitely does well as the playboy. It's one of my favorites.

Beauty Inside - Romcom at the heart of it, but has a strange little story about the lead and the weird life she leads as an actress. As usual, there are some dramatic elements. I am a fan of both leads and they do a pretty good job. Our Beloved Summer - Coming of age story about 2 people who were "stars" in a reality show/documentary when they were teenagers and unexpectedly fall back into the limelight again after it goes viral on youtube years later. I don't remember any over the top tropes. It's pretty well done and the actors are great.
He Is Psychometric is another one that is so so good and was popular but rarely reacted to. It's got comedy but is also a crime/thriller/mystery!
Stranger (aka Forest of Secrets) - Investigation drama, the only drama that i'd give a 10/10 out of the ones i've watched so far; Gaus Electronics - Funny and quick drama to watch, the humor in this one hits different. Also the actor that plays Jang Han Seo from Vincenzo is the lead here.
Queen of tears is new and I like the story so far. Currently there are 6 episodes and it looks like it’s doing well so far.

For 16 episodes or less, you can't beat a show called Signal. Other great picks would be Strangers from Hell, My Mister, Last, Prison Playbook, Stranger, Happiness, Move to Heaven, Mask Girl and Hotel Del Luna.

Back in the day the 16 episodes used to be 20 episodes. Two shows that should be on your list when you have time are Healer - Itaewon Class level hype, trust me, and Misaeng. The extra four episodes is worth it for those two.

I’ve commented this before but I’ll try again! Copy pasted! I recommend Juvenile Justice (Legal Drama, 2022) on Netflix! It only has 10 episodes! It stares Kim Hye-soo (an actress I really like). It also has Yeom Hye-ran (The Glory, The Uncanny Counter, Goblin) as a character and also Lee Jung-eun (Parasite, Strangers From Hell) andLee Yeon (Weak Hero Class 1). The synopsis from Google states, "A tough judge balances her aversion to minor offenders with firm beliefs on justice and punishment as she tackles complex cases inside a juvenile court." I heard some of the cases are also based on real cases that have occurred. I'm not sure how well it would do on YouTube because I tried to do some research and some reactions go from 1k views to 48k views. I would love to see your guy's reaction to it as it goes over legal stuff, I want to hear about different opinions and debates and how the laws differ for minors vs adults between different countries. I personally enjoyed it! :)
