Shogun Reaction Discuss

You have to do Warrior first... Great storyline, action-packed with really good fight scenes. Trust me. You will thank me later. Shogun's intro alone is one of the best I've seen to date. It's just so serene and beautiful. This show was exquisitely put together. There are a lot of veteran Asian actors so the expectations were always high. Everything is on point so far from the acting, setting, costumes, writing, drone shots, etc. With this being said, just be prepared for a slow-paced series as it relates to action sequences which are minimal at best. This is more of a drama-filled historical series with minimal action so far. The writing, intense acting, drama, and plot sequence will keep you engaged. I just want to make you guys aware of this. You know the Director's cute little cat-eye sleepy nod-offs are legendary. LOL

Complex and well written characters, with motivations that make sense and align with understandable actions. Shifting factions and alliances, and high stakes and consequences for all involved. I know you will love the show. I would greatly appreciate you covering SHOGUN. I know your schedule is tight, but two episodes in it has me HOOKED.

herd it was great

Sounds good to me I've been meaning to check it out myself but maybe ill just watch along with you guys

Please!!!

Phenomenal show

Goated show worth your time for sure

I love the show so far I think you guys will love it to.

sure why not?

lets go!

This and Warrior are MUST WATCHES

For the Honor of your Clan you need to react to this or do seppuku.

Literally can’t wait to watch if it ends up on the line-up. Also strongly recommend Warrior [now on netflix] Very strong action-drama / gang-crime show, that honestly deserves way more flowers

To be honest I feel it’s right up your guys alley and I think y’all would like it

So far the show is definitely top tier. Also, i know you'd like to jump on while its currently airing and hot. It really reminds me of Last Samurai meets Black Sails. Which are also both top tier.

I mean it'll only be for one season which completely adapts the book, and it's a mostly Japanese cast about periodic Japan. It doesn't have to compete against anime, it's essentially a live-action "anime".

great show

Please, it’s so dope

Sure. Absolutely

yes just yes

do these reactions for ur bloodline lee

it's fireeeeeee

It’s fire. Good cast especially mariko-sama. The set design is awesome from what I hear it’s shot in Vancouver. The build up is crazy fast there are peak and valleys to the show tho. Not gonna lie I’m dumb as f—-k so I did have to search up certain things about Japanese politics.

it's not good. my parent's are watching it rn. it's mid. stereotypical war times sexism featuring white savior complex

I am currently watching this show it’s 🔥🔥🔥 and I love the cast lots of people are reacting to it in yt at the moment is also on going so it’s a possibility for a regular reaction each season. It’s also on peoples minds rn because so many people are discussing it soooooooo my two cents is…. React to it what you waiting for 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

the only issue is they did the whole Mary Sue with the Main girl. where as in the book she was useless at fighting.

First episode was heat, haven't seen the rest but it's on my list. You'd like it.

After the second episode, I was hooked.

Yes just started watching it and its very good. Definitely a watch if you have room

Yeah, it's really good Mr. Lee

Yeah its a good show to watch and react imo

It’s one of the best shows out right now I’m surprised you guys haven’t already started reacting to it.

I’ll watch it if yall check it out

Considering I recommended it on the New Show post, I'm hopeful of you adding it to the list! :D

Definitely gets my vote am currently really enjoying it and think you will too
